Maine Community Bank app seems overly inconvenient to use, but that may be necessary in today’s world.

This is an efficient and effective service offered by the bank and very helpful for those of us with busy lives.

Couple grievances, mostly I love MCB
I get kicked out of web browser too quickly. Also, ACH payments are kind of annoying. I wish I could just have a list of vendors, pick one, pay them, and have that payment show up itemized on my account. You know what I am talking about…

Difficult to use for multiple credentials
The old mobile apps were split into personal and separate business. Each one was able to store login credentials. The current app can only store one set of credentials and requires password entry for other accounts. Therefore making it useless for the unsaved account.
New look to the app
I like the new look here in March 2026. Seems a lot more user friendly.
Changes
Be a lot better and happier if i didnt have to relearn how to use an app ever couple months, or hae to completely change my card numbers ever couple months due to fraud, Maine community bank is probably the worst banking facility I’ve ever used !!!

Annoying
Was much better as Biddeford Savings. Since becoming MCB they make changes every week . It takes more steps to do anything than it used to. What used to be simple is now complex. May change banks.
You fixed a problem that didn’t exist
Yes, the font size is larger, but it wasn’t very small to begin with. I can now see much less on my screen than I used to be able to do without scrolling. Also, this is nice, one of my accounts no longer shows up on my phone! It probably just needs to be re-linked somehow but, come on, you really should’ve tested this part a little bit better. I love the bank and I’ve been a loyal member for a long time and will continue to do so. This update, in my opinion, really really missed the mark.

Not impressed
I don’t like that you can’t see all your accounts & can’t move them around based on priority. I also don’t care for the new transfer process. Overall, it’s been a down grade from the previous system.

Wish we got text alerts instead of emails! It’s an inconvenience and Boggs down my Gmail account!! I had to buy more storage. Not a convenient method!! Texting is fast and easier ! Please update
Needs changes
Does not change orientation on iPad. Not easy to find your way around on the pages. Cluttered.
A step backwards in aesthetics and usability
This used to be easier to navigate and was more organized and how it was presented. It is less conspicuous as to what is a deposit and what is a debit. I find this app overall more difficult to use.
Very Disappointed in this app. Huge step backward
The changes from the previous MCB app are VERY disappointing. This new version is much less user friendly. The view does not rotate if you are using a tablet vs. a phone, the description of the transactions are less complete, and detailed than the previous version. It is a very sizable step backward on several fronts from the original MCB app. Highly disappointed. Would not recommend this to anyone. Considering changing banks.
