About

Vote according to your convictions, not by default. Majority Judgment is a modern voting system developed by French researchers about 20 years ago. With Majority Judgment, there’s no need to choose the “lesser evil.” This method allows for sincere and fair voting, all in a single round. No more sacrificing your true opinion to block a candidate or being forced to choose between two similar options. How does it work? You simply give your opinion on each candidate using a scale of values, from “To be rejected” to “Very good”. The result is based on the median grade received by each candidate — that is, the grade given by at least half of the voters or more. In the event of a tie, the candidate with the most votes at the median grade wins. This voting method has already been used in France, notably during the 2021 Left Primary, and is commonly used today in participatory budgeting in Paris. At Brightberry, we aim to reinvent social interactions in the digital age. We believe technology should empower creativity, strengthen connections, and foster more genuine, open, and human exchanges.
