Very buggy
Scans don’t work properly. Doesn’t show items you’ve scanned properly. Tries to constantly re add things you’ve already added. My bar doesn’t filter properly shows 0 items when there’s 20/30/50 in the category selected. No easy way to contact support.

I was hoping for a VERY simple function or page that would tell me what booze I should buy (not brand, just type) to add to my bar to unlock either a. The largest number of cocktails
b. The largest number of cocktails I would like based on other cocktails and flavors I liked.
c. Also if I hated something, say Campari (which is truly foul), it could steer me away from anything that tastes like it.

Pay To Use
Used to LOVE this app as a bartender learning new cocktails and what I can make with what I have until they began charging subscriptions to use the app. You won’t get any recipes for drinks made with “your bar” without paying. Absolutely tanked their original model and customer appeal for a few extra bucks in their pocket

App offers nothing
If you do not purchase the premium subscription it will not even offer recipes using the ingredients you have entered that are currently in your bar. I know they don’t want to give things away, but just price it up front rather than giving an empty app without the $50 per year subscription.
Not even paid version works.
Downloaded and signed up for free trial. Selected about 90% of the ingredients and there are NO OPTIONS for possible drinks. The comments say it’s a scam. Bye.

Nice app but constantly bugs me to upgrade
I get that you need to make revenue. I don’t use the app enough to be worth $50 a year… if it were $25 I’d be more likely to subscribe. Maybe charge a small fee upfront? I’m just tired of being prompted to upgrade every single time I login.

Very detailed and extremely useful if you running a home bar! The lists and trivia is also a greatly welcomed addition.
Useless without $$$
Downloaded for ideas on new drinks. Entered 15+ spirits, several liqueurs, many mixers, and said make me a drink and it came up with exactly 2 drinks. Apparently it will only give you ideas if you pay $50+. Deleting now.

Doesn't work
I tried to open the my bar area but it doesn't load at all! It shows the click to begin text, I click, screen turns white for a while, then reverts back to the text and I can't select anything at all, it's just a blank white screen!
If I can't let the app know what ingredients I have, there's no way for it to recommend me drinks, so this app is completely useless... :(

Could not transfer my bar when new upgrade happened
I used to love this app and had my entire bar loaded. It has great choices and suggestions. When the new upgrade happened it lost my entire list and would not transfer to the new account. I’m not opposed to subscriptions, apps have to pay for themselves, but not transferring everything over was a deal breaker for me.

Doesnt save
My old account was wiped with the update. I took a ton of time making a new account and creating a bar in the new one. My password manager even saved my user name and password. I’m trying to log i , and it says no account with my only email address. I’m not taking the time to do this again. Maybe if you have a paid account it works…

It’s a small database; login is NOT a requirement
Really scummy move here, requiring logins. This tells me the next move here is monetization, likely via monthly subscription, and that’s where and when reasonable people will promptly leave this app.

Lost some important features
The app lost an important feature: the ability to see which cocktails you can make (based on your inventory) with ingredients you seek in the cocktail. Example, after setting up your inventory in the app, I want to see the cocktails I can make with Cognac.
With the new version, searching for Cognac shows all recipes, not the ones you have the ingredients for. It effectively renders the app useless, as I don’t want to see ALL cognac recipes, only the ones I can make.

Amazing!!
I absolutely love this app, has almost everything you can think of as an option. I think hard lemonade would be good to add in the beer section! Otherwise though, the app is great, functions perfectly. isn’t overrun with ads or anything either. Love this!
From amateur to professional
I am really enjoying this app. It’s turning an amateur bartender into a professional wannabe.
Was better before
I loved the old version of this app because I could put every single thing that I had in my bar in there by brand and everything And now it’s just this real basic thing I can’t even put Midori or blue curaçao in there. I’m very disappointed to see this Shopping around for another app that I can put all of the things that I have in there

Needs improvement
I used the old app and this one is a huge downgrade. The app has lots of functionality issues, it’s more difficult to search ingredients, and the cocktail options are far more limited. At this point it’s more effective to throw ingredients into chat.

Although this review is about 8 months old (apologies for not responding sooner), I thought I would say that the app now, compared to then, is miles ahead with a huge amount of features compared to what you had in v2.70. Hope it helps!
