Best available
I purchased this app in 2015 for a feature film and I’ve continued to depend on it. It’s truly the best one available for makeup artists. I do most of my films traveling and the ease of having an app vs a traditional paper binder is invaluable. It’s not perfect and I wish the developer would fix and update the available photo albums to pull from. If photos are not saved on my iPad but are in a icloud album I cannot access it. This is quite annoying. The app has some crashing issues but not terrible, mostly it just resets to the main menu if unused.
However, the app is very easy to use. Creating characters, sheets for scenes, and adding all the necessary makeup, Fx and hair notes is easy.
For a one time charge of $50 for multiple projects it’s perfect for large and small budget projects.

I have used this for 3 films now and love it!
It is awsome for keeping continuity and give space for writing all products used and any notes.
I love that I do not have to print sheets and pictures makeing my footprint more green.
The only down side is remembering how to burn info to a disk for production.

Decent
Overall, it's a decent program but it crashes regularly when I'm using it. And I have no idea where my PDFs are going on my iPad once they're generated. So much for being easy.
Even great for low/no budget films!!!
I've been Dept heading a lot of low/no budget, non union films this year and I'm always looking for a budget friendly way to keep my makeup continuity book updated and neat.
I have to work with productions who have basically no budget for ink or paper and with the pay I'm getting I just can't supply my own. I am just happy to be working, doing what I love. So I make do with what I have. I found a solution, it's the Make-up Continuity Pro App and it's great for films of every budget.
I recently started using the Make-up continuity pro app on my iPad. So far it's worth the investment. I wrote to the Creators asking if they could add the key words in a list ( like foundation, concealer, eyeshadow,) in the makeup box so that it's easier to add the info and they said they will add it in the next update.
It's definitely worth the $49.99 to be able to take pictures and update all continuity instantly and export them onto iCloud or computer to print out if needed. And if others in the makeup/hair dept have the app too, you can share your continuity info instantly with them by Bluetooth.
