Beware of using this app. Most profiles are scammers. Using profile pictures form onlyfans models and trying to convince you to use sketchy apps to continue the convo. They’ll try to convince you to send money in return for meeting up. Again beware

i’ll give the app one thing you get to talk to some cool people with similar interests at times but it’s really just an app to make friends across the country. you will never find someone that’s near you at all. the location thing hasn’t worked ever it seems. i had this app like 2 years ago and it was bad then. just got it back recently and it still sucks unfortunately. also paid 60$ for a month but charged me 101$ for the subscription!?!?
tldr: good to make friends across the country. don’t get hopes up on finding a relationship bc they’ll be hundreds of miles away from you nmw the app distance is set too

Not good if you have niche taste, also the app added artists to my history I never listened to
This seemed good in principle so I was willing to try this out. Music is a big part of my life and I struggle to find people in my city that appreciate the same stuff. Unfortunately this didn’t work for that. This app works if you enjoy talking to catfishes or being coerced into paying for the app because you don’t get any likes through artists you actually listen to.
Random pop artists and bands were added to my listening history that I never listened to after I linked Apple Music with the app, and I got spam notifications about “you got a like from someone that listens to x artist”. This is most likely a way to manipulate people into paying and is shady:
Even of the very popular artists I listen to, I never once found anyone in my city (NYC) that listen to the same person. The one match I made seemed like a bot or catfish. Save your time and energy, go somewhere else to meet people, unless your taste is highly generic - in which case this app is no different (and arguably worse) than mainstream competitors.
