Malamute Camera Works Great!
This camera app works great. The app is small in size, simple to use, and works well. My only suggestion to improve the app would be to have the HEIF or JPG setting stay locked in once set. As it is now the setting reverts to HEIF when the app is closed. My thanks to the developer for an easy to use app app that works well. Job well done!
Update: Very responsive developer. The May 31, 2025 version 1.00.05 now supports locking in the HEIF or JPG setting. Excellent, thank you developer!

We’re also excited to let you know that your suggestion has been implemented! As of the May 31, 2025 update, the photo format setting (HEIF or JPG) is now saved automatically and restored when the app is reopened. No more need to reselect it each time.
