For lovers of the classic RPG grind
If you are nostalgic for the classic era RPG grind then you will enjoy this game. It will take many trips into the maze, careful gold management, and patience to succeed. As an old school RPGer, I’m enjoying the simplicity of it.
Reasons for not giving the 5th star:
Having to repurchase items every time you leave the maze creates a gold sink. This is by design to encourage in-app purchase of gold. So far I’ve been able to mitigate some of this by not purchasing the most expensive items that I can afford so the pot builds. But this feature takes away the specialness of looting a nice item as it converts to gold automatically when you leave the maze.
