Good app but needs an update
Good app with basic info including animal calls. But needs an update to account for changes in classification in the last 8 years.
Maps don’t show correct information
The distribution maps are very poor quality and the information is clearly inaccurate. They show animal distribution that is absolutely incorrect for almost every animal in the database. Very disappointed in this aspect of the app.

Beste App wenn man auf Safari geht
Diese Schön gemachte App hat uns wirklich gute Dienste geleistet. Wir sind auf einer Safari nach Südafrika gefahren und konnten mit Hilfe dieser App alle Säugetiere wirklich gut bestimmen. Außerdem haben wir eine Liste angelegt mit allen Arten die wir gesehen haben. Kann die App vorbehaltlos empfehlen.

Really Great App!
Includes the most common mammals of South Africa. Should definitively be useful on Safari. I particularly like that it has not only photos of each animal but also their tracks, maps and even sounds!!! Especially for this the comparison feature is really helpful!!!
Perfect companion on Safari!
I used this guide today on a Safari tour in South Africa and it is just brilliant! especially all the different Antilope species are quite confusing can all be very easily identified with this app. Loads of information too. I also like the spoors and animal sounds!
