Love this app, has been super helpful. Bout the only reason I canât justify five stars is there is some ease of use I think they could do to the app to streamline some of the features of deck building on it.
Fast schon perfekt
An und fĂŒr sich ist die ManaBox wirklich eine top App fĂŒr Magic: The Gathering. Die Bedienung ist ĂŒbersichtlich, alles lĂ€uft bei mir schnell, sauber und problemlos. Gerade fĂŒr die Verwaltung und Ăbersicht der eigenen Sammlung und Decks finde ich die App wirklich gelungen.
Was mir persönlich noch fehlen wĂŒrde, wĂ€re eine integrierte Möglichkeit, direkt ein Spiel zu eröffnen bzw. zu verfolgen â am besten fĂŒr möglichst viele bzw. alle gĂ€ngigen Formate und mit frei wĂ€hlbarer Spieleranzahl.
Besonders cool fĂ€nde ich es, wenn man dabei sein eigenes Deck auswĂ€hlen könnte und dieses dann wĂ€hrend des Spiels im Hintergrund bzw. auf dem Spielfeld angezeigt wird â bei Commander natĂŒrlich inklusive des eigenen Commanders.
Noch besser wÀre eine Spielstatistik, bei der man sehen kann, wie oft man mit einem bestimmten Deck bzw. Commander gewonnen hat und vielleicht sogar, in welcher Runde man das Spiel gewonnen oder verloren hat. So könnte man langfristig nachvollziehen, welche Decks und Commander tatsÀchlich am erfolgreichsten sind.
Das wĂ€re fĂŒr mich eine richtig starke Erweiterung der App und wĂŒrde ManaBox noch deutlich interessanter machen. Insgesamt aber schon jetzt eine sehr gute und zuverlĂ€ssige App, die ich gerne nutze! đ

Please donât do this.
This app has been integral in keeping up with my mtg collection. Literally thousands of scans. Iâve enjoyed this app enough to even happily pay for the pro version. Now even with pro version, thereâs ads. I hardly ever actually leave a review, but this felt pressing enough. Please change this. Iâd hate to learn a new system, but I refuse to pay for ads.

Amazing MtG app!
The ability to scan the cards is so great! I can add them into collections and organize and see their worth. Highly recommend this app for MtG players!
Scanner isnât effective
The scanner doesnât work with black cards. Itâs super annoying.

Hi! Sorry you're having this issue. Could you send us a short video showing the problem at manabox@skilldevs.com? Make sure to scan on a plain background (like a white sheet), with good lighting and no glare or shadows, this helps the scanner detect card edges accurately.

I actually have no problem with manabox i actually love it a lot but i thought this was a good way to get the creators attention(and once its noticed i will imediatley set it to 5 stars) I just think that there should be a feature with sets or decks were you can look at the set only including or excluding the cards you do or dont hve pls add this great app otherwise

Stupendous App
Absolutely fantastic app. Such a useful way for me to record my collection as a new player.
Couldnât be more impressed with the scan feature - itâs quick and accurate. Many apps limit you to a certain number of scans that make them unusable.

Disable ManaBox
Can you please add the setting to skip the âManaBoxâ logo intro? Itâs unnecessarily similar to booting a console or PC and even longer than it used to be. I can understand the first time you install it but beyond that, why?
Initial impressions
Have been using for a few weeks now and itâs been doing ok. The scan feature is what brought me to this app (I had been using âDeckedâ). I have a lot of cards to work through and the scanner feature is helpful, itâs not saving as much time as I had hoped. My biggest issue is the inability to determine set, it rarely assigns the correct set to the card scanned. It also wonât scan multiple of the same card back to back, I have to scan a different card or at least different artwork. It also doesnât identify most foils unless itâs a unique promo art. I have found the error rate in identifying the card scanned has been very low, and I have always been able to find the set in the drop down box. So while it is a useful app it still requires a lot of micro adjustments after scanning.

Horribly Inconsistent
A. The camera selection is basically a useless feature. It can really only focus with one of the lenses.
B. It lacks autofocus pretty much at all cannot find the focus to save a life.
C. No optical or digital zoom, often the only lens that is suited for sacnning is the wide angle so the lack of ability to crop the viewing image is abyssmal.
D. It certainly works better with a white background but you had best hope there are no straight lines on or around your background because the app immediately becomes unusable if there is.
Its a shame because when it works it is great but it feels like consulting a horoscope half the time.

Best MTG app
This was the best app for helping me get back into MTG. It's super easy to use. I heavily rely on ManaBox to make my commander decks and the card prices are fairly accurate (I use TCGPlayer pricing). I love everything about this app and I cannot recommend it enough as someone that seldom writes reviews.

Scanner pretty bad
It mis-scans every other card for me. Too laborious to go back in and delete and correct all itâs mistakes. Iâm going to try something else.
Good app with some missing features
This is my go to app for all my MTG related card searches, personal collection, and deck organizing.
I wish the app had 2 things added. One is a history option so you can see changes youâve made. The second being the export feature needs to include the set each card is from.

Scanning sucks
The ability to scan is cool but the scanner through this app sucks. Iâm on a iPhone 17 pro max, Iâve changed the lighting in the rooms, wiped the camera, pulled the cards from sleeves (the camera usually picks up with sleeves) but again the scanner sometimes just doesnât scan no matter what I do and it just makes the whole process of adding cards an entire night mare

I love this app as it was the first one I used when I was getting into Magic. Although, after getting into the community for about a year, I realized one thing the app needed to set this app apart. Iâm convinced that if you add the ability to add and share customs in-app, this could be the greatest app for tracking Magic cards of all time. You could even add a checkbox in the deck creation menu to enable customs, but you wouldnât be able to share the deck. Overall, great app. Keep up the good work!
