About

Manasik is a sourced reference for the rites of Hajj and Umrah. Most guides tell you what to do. Manasik also tells you where the ruling comes from. Every rite carries its Qur'an verse or hadith, with the collection and number, so you can check the source text yourself rather than taking an instruction on trust. PICK YOUR PILGRIMAGE, SEE ONLY YOUR RITES Choose Umrah, or Hajj as At-Tamattu', Qiran or Ifrad. The rite list narrows to that pilgrimage — no scrolling past acts that do not apply to you. EVERY ACT GRADED, NOT JUST LISTED • Pillars (Rukn) — omit one and the pilgrimage is invalid. • Obligatory (Wajib) — omit one and a compensation (dam) is due. • Sunnah — the Prophet's practice, rewarded but not required. • Conditions & Rulings — who Hajj is due upon, ihram restrictions, and more. Pillars, Obligatory and Sunnah each have their own tab; Conditions & Rulings sits in the menu. STEP-BY-STEP GUIDES Day-by-day walkthroughs for Hajj and for Umrah, in the order things actually happen, so you know what comes next while you are standing there. TAWAF AND SA'I COUNTERS Tap-to-count circuits and trips, kept on your device, so you do not lose your place in a crowd. COMMON MISTAKES What pilgrims most often get wrong at each stage, and what the ruling is when it happens. MADHAB DIFFERENCES, MARKED Where the four schools differ, the app says so rather than presenting one position as the only one. Where a source could not be confirmed, that is flagged too. WORKS OFFLINE, COLLECTS NOTHING The full text ships inside the app. No account, no sign-in, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking. What you mark as done stays on your device and is never uploaded. The only thing we ever receive is a message you choose to type into the contact form, and it does not ask for your email address or your name. Readable Arabic alongside the English, adjustable text size for both scripts, and a dark mode for the pre-dawn starts.

What's New in Manasik

1.0.1

September 19, 2026

1. Corrected the order of the Day of Nahr rites (halq/taqsir) and the occasion of the two-corners walk in raml. 2. Clarified that a Ramadan 'Umrah does not discharge the Hajj obligation, and that schools differ on 'Umrah. 3. All Qur'an, hadith and du'a quotations are now taken from one named edition. 4. New conditions-of-validity section for the rites, and a clearer About page.
