MandoMaxxing

MandoMaxxing is the app blocker that teaches you Chinese. Your most distracting apps stay locked until you finish a short Mandarin task — so every urge to scroll turns into a few minutes of real practice. HOW IT WORKS • Choose the apps that eat your time. They're shielded by default using Apple's Screen Time controls. • Want one back? Complete a short Mandarin task to unlock it. • Pick how long you need, from 1 hour to a full day. Longer unlock windows ask for more words. A TASK THAT ACTUALLY TEACHES Every unlock is a short lesson, not a mindless tap: • Read — a short story to read aloud. • Understand — the key words from the story, quizzed by AI in fresh contexts. • Write — your own sentences using the new words, checked by AI. BUILT AROUND YOU Pick your HSK level (HSK 1–6) and the topics you care about — food, travel, work, culture, tech, or hobbies. Every story is written to match, so it's never too hard and never boring. A SHIELD THAT HOLDS Tightening your shield takes effect instantly. Loosening it takes 24 hours — so a moment of weakness can't undo the decision you made with a clear head. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your blocked-app choices stay on your device. Read-aloud audio is handled by your device's speech recognition and is never sent to or stored on our servers. Stop doomscrolling. Learn Mandarin instead.
