iPhone XS bugs?

Extremely disappointed with this on my iPhone XS. When placed in the holder of the Pixi pano360, the icons to control it are covered, which is ridiculous. The only way to use it is to offset the device in the mount.
Also, the timer delay countdown is obscured on the app’s screen beneath the black task bar. Why?

I love the app, but...

Auto-exposure works fine in all modes except Pano. I cannot shoot a Pano in sunlight because it is severely overexposed and there seems to be no way to bring down the exposure. Help?
