Deleting an item in a group is bugged
If you add a manga to a group and try to delete that title from the group it crashes the app and deletes the entire group. I lost my entire reading list because I finished a completed series. Otherwise it’d a good app but it doesn’t allow you to customize swiping left instead of right
I want to give it 5-stars but…
The variety of manga and manwha is incredible but I would really like this app if it saved my place in the chapters I’m reading if I haven’t finished it. It would be really cool if it saved your chapter list order preferences(ascending/descending). I think a general browse by genre tab would be handy too, for exploring new series’ and stuff. But yeah, great selection of things to read just not a very good way of tracking your place.

Great but some issues
I’ve been using it for a few days now and have loved it! It’s a great reader and thanks to it using mangadex it has a massive catalog of manga with good fan translations! But there are definitely some bugs keeping this from a 5 star app, first is some chapters won’t load for some reason (But if you go back to the list there seems to always be a working reupload right next to it so it’s a tiny issue). Second is that the app doesn’t hold your place when you switch apps half the time meaning if you need to leave the app you better remember what chapter you were on. Third and most important in my opinion is that when you try to removed a manga from your reading list it will remove the whole list instead of just the one which is a massive pain.
But don’t let my few complaints dissuade you, I bring them up in hopes the dev team can fix them, if they do this would probably be the best app on the App Store and until then it’s still a great choice!

Amazing but…
I’m not sure if it’s just me. But I’m have some trouble deleting mangas/manhwas from my lists. Soon after I press the delete button the app crashes. After I reopen the app my list is completely reorganized. At one point I reopened the app and my entire list got deleted. Smh. Other than that. I absolutely love this app. I am a huge fan of mangadex in and of itself. So when I found out that they supported an app I was so excited. Hopefully the right eyes sees my review and can do something about this.

One request
I would have only ONE request to I think make this app the best, when I save my manga in reading or plan to read, it’d be really nice to have the cover or photo of the manga I read aswell, instead of just the name, as it’s easier to pinpoint which one Is which, a lot of manga have similar names
Lack of right to left reading
This app is everything I would want. Except it doesn’t offer right to left pagination. Which basically means I can use it, unfortunately. If this were added, I’d use and pay for this app.

Could you make so when I remove a manga from a group it doesn't revive the whole group? Or the groups above it?

Notice some bugs
So far the app looks great and the UI is amazing. The only bug I’ve noticed at the moment is when I try to delete a manga from the plan to read section it completely shuts down the app. Also I’ve noticed that the updates for some of the mangas are a bit slow. Like one manga would be on chapter 43 on the app but on chapter 50 on the scanlation website. Not sure if that’s just how it’s supposed to work or if it’s just because the app is still relatively new. But good app so far besides that and I look forward to its development.

Doesn’t read from right to left like normal manga..
This app WOULD BE PERFECT. If there was an option for the manga to be read from right to left like normal manga. Turning the page like an American book then having to read the manga still like normal manga is a turn off. Please add a toggle to allow us to read the manga how its intended to be read. Thank you! (Probably won’t use the app just because of that)

Only one thing
Hello, I just got this app today and I'm loving it, I only have one suggestion. For when reading in "Long Strip" style, there should be an option like "single page" where there's a continuation to the next chapter button. It gets annoying having to exit out and find the next chapter.

I love the app, it has tons of magna you can read to your hearts content!But one thing I would like fixed is the magna that you have to scroll down.I want to change the way you get into the next page, it would be easier if you add a next chapter on the bottom instead of having to leave then click the next chapter, but overall I love the app.

Great manga app
I love that it saves progress. Very convenient! Easy and smooth reading experience. A few bugs and suggestions: 1. (Bug) deleting a manga from a group deletes the whole group. 2. (Suggestion) display total # of pages in chapter while reading / some reading progress indicator. 3. (Suggestion) save manga/page when app closes. 4. (Suggestion) save page # in chapter progress. 5. (Suggestion) connect to user’s mangadex account (If possible; I think I read technical reasons why not). Thanks for all the great work on this! It is a super app.

Great app!
I love the app! It’s very simple to use and I can find everything I want to read. I kinda wish you could download the Manga so you could read on the go but other than that everything works fine! Keep working strong dev!

On series like The Beginning After The End, MangaDex uses external links to go to other sites like Tapas. The app doesn't recognize this and instead attempts to load the comic, seemingly without having access to it.

I’ve been using this app for some time and I love, there are so times where there is a manga that has chapters up to an amount and it then the next chapter is multiple of many chapters away from the first one.
Great app for newcomers of manga
The ease of use of this app is wonderful, however the only thing preventing me from giving that 5 star, is the fact you can not log into your own mangadex account to sync your library. Having to remember or go searching for the story you are already reading is a tad frustrating. So for the moment I may stick to the mangadex website until this issue is fixed.

It is the best one I have used so far but
The problem is that 1 chapter takes so long to load. Even if I have full bars 5G and full strength WiFi, it can take up to 10+ minutes of waiting for one chapter to load and with the “Failed to load” message.

Loving the app so far. It’s great having a free app powered by manga dex. I could ask about adding functionality to login into mangadex accounts and also reading chapters right to left instead of left to right
