IOS APP = 0 BUT WINDOWS = 10
Mangocam provides a fantastic video CCTV recording/ streaming service (a truly offsite NVR (Network Video Recorder). But, the IOS App (and Web based interface on an iPad) are hopeless. Fear not though if you have a Windows PC, the Web interface is really good, and I can recommend it highly. Itβs Brilliant.

Crashes when trying to view recordings
Seems only partially complete - far too many missing bits.

I can't watch my recorded videos. App crashes everytime I try. Where are the updates??
Needs another update
Used to work fine but after the last couple of iOS updates the "recorded video" function crashes out of the app on my iPhone 6. Still works on my iPad.
Update: 04/23/2017 - app still crashes out on iPhone 6, iOS version 10.2.1. Useless.

Poor
Needs work, alarm recordings should link to videos not just a couple of frames. Then when you view video you have a very short and difficult to use time slider . It also just quits the app randomly when using. Think I'll go with another cloud website as this doesn't work, they never update and fix the problems.

Please give us an update!
This app is poor. We need to be able to view recordings or watch motion events. This hasn't been updated in over two years. Please give us a better app

The app seems like it was developed by 5 year old kids, the web interface is convoluted. I reached out to support, and they (John) is just as bad as the app. Look for another product and you will thank me.
Needs work
You are able to view streams but if you try to access your recorded video it says you have no recordings. One of the biggest draws to subscribe to mango cam was to be able to review recorded feeds from phone. This needs to be fixed ASAP. Once that works the service will worth every penny.
Very basic - lacks features/features don't work
Would be good if the developer added basic date/time filters for viewing motion events. At present you have no way of seeing motion event stills from 6 hours ago (say) without having to first scroll through and downloading all preceding hours.
Also, the live recording viewing features does not work on iPhones - always say no video found but it works fne on PCs.
Please improve in next release.

Very limited functionality
I paid for gold membership in order to get access to the iPhone ap but was disappointed that you can't do much on the ap. triggered events are good but you can only view images. You also can't play back any videos. I'm paying $160/year and expect a better experience
What about recordings?
I have gold membership, but when I try to access recordings it gives me an error regardless of which day I pick. Something about no available recordings and that current recordings will only show up 5 minutes afterwards. I get the same error even if i select a recording from 2 days ago. Other functionality seems to work fine.

Just like other reviewers said β worthless app
As if the mangocam website wasn't confusing enough, this app gives a whole new level to the idea of worthless. If the IP camera market were bigger, there would be better options and more competition for better products. This app lets you see what cameras you have installed through the online Control Panel, by name only. You cannot access any of the streams, live, recorded, or motion alerted, or edit any of your camera or schedule settings from this app. Strangely, there is a button to view recorded images. But when you click it, the screen goes blank. Other reviewers have noted the same thing. I thought I was going to be different. Needless to say, this app has no functional value whatsoever since you can't edit or view anything, aside from the names of the couple of cameras you have installed. What's the point in that?
To make matters worse, the website is totally not iOS friendly. You cannot view recordings from mobile Safari, or any mobile browser (and I have tried several) on the iPad or iPhone. The font is so small that when you pinch and zoom on your iPhone, the JavaScript/Ajax pop-ups just move all over the screen and off the screen for the most part. MangoCam need
to get their act together. For all the money they are pulling in, it's like they don't care. If they're not going to focus on making the app functional, then make the website mobile friendly.

Good app but needs improvements
Glad to see it available on iPhone. It helped me decide to pay for the premium monthly Mangocam plan. Will give 5 stars and upgrade to monitor more cameras when the following are added:
1. Auto login and default camera/group selection (i.e. fewer touches)
2. More control on recording viewing - It's impractical to review every second of the video. I'd like to be able to fast forward, jump to a specific time or a motion detected event.
3. an HD version to take advantage of the iPad screen real estate.
