Reading the Free Press
I love reading the Free Press online. You never have to worry if and when it will be delivered. I don’t like the fact that there are so many things on the website and I have to enter my user name and password every time I look for something.
Best local newspaper
I enjoy keeping up with the news that is most important to me. The Free Press does a stellar job of bringing local news and stories of interest to people in this area. They also cover Minnesota and national stories of importance to our community.
Love the mobile app
I love that I can read the newspaper anytime without papers piling up. It’s easy to go to any section. It’s especially handy when traveling to keep up on the news back home.

E-Version of The Free Press
My wife and I are pleased with our electronic access to the daily Free Press, especially during this winter season. Not only is the e-version a mirror copy of the paper version, but also it helps to reduce our environmental impact—and it saves a trip into the cold each morning. The only issue we have is that we are not sure how to delete previously read editions from our devices and, being part of the technically-challenged generation, have a difficult time trying to decipher the terminology explaining how.

I really enjoy reading the Mankato Free Press on my phone. It has so easy to use and always with be. Occasionally something gets blurred but then it clears up so I can read. That might be on my end!! Thank you for providing this option! I’m older and it is much easier for me to see and read this way!!

Keeping up close while far away
I love that our town has a local paper and love even more that they have invested in a digital platform. Especially since I am away for about 6 months. It is easy to read and navigate (even when I accidentally hit something that makes the paper split into 4-I can quickly figure out how to get back to format I like). I like that it looks like the paper and I can see the layout as a newspaper rather than an online magazine or website. Thank you Mankato Free Press. I love the local coverage and access to it digitally so I can keep in touch no matter where I am.
