Daily quiet times
Honestly, this has helped me spice up my quiet times with God. I love that there’s structure and I love the knowledge that you learn from the manna. I ALWAYS recommend this app to everyone because it’s THAT good! Get it! Don’t think about it twice :)
Very Nice App
This Bible study series has been available for 3+ decades as softcover booklets, which include a great deal of excellent commentary.. While I love having the hard copies with the authors’ commentary and other info, this app includes the material in those booklets, and also provides a nice structure for reading the entire Word in a year or faster, if I’d like to do that, and the app provides a bit of extra motivation for those days when I don’t feel particularly up for my morning quiet times. Thank you!

THE MANNA SERIES WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE
26 years ago (JULY 19th 1992) when I decided to make Jesus Lord of my life we had the book series through our churches. To this day the very foundation of the manna series is the reason I still do my quiet times the same way and still faithful.
Not knowing much as a young Disciple I would skip to the end of the book that describes what I was reading then I’d go back and read it all over again. These manna books literally changed my life forever and when I write my quiet times down I still do it the same way the manna books did for me.
Now since everyone learns and understands in a completely different way maybe you’ll get pearls of wisdom from the books in a way I didn’t but that’s the beauty of these manna books. It’s like the Bible everyone learns from it and gets something new in a different manner.

Too expensive
I have to buy each individual book just to be able to check off bible passages I've read? Seems like the developers are more concerned about money than spreading the Gospel.
Bible Study in a Year
Thanks for making Manna in the Morning available as an app! Makes it handy to access anywhere! My husband and I were around when the print editions were first circulated, and still have all but the first one. This series was, and still is, particularly useful for anyone who would like to grow in their familiarity/understanding of the overarching principles/purposes of the Bible and, more importantly, how you can practically apply what you've read. A very helpful study guide.
An observation for, perhaps, more fluid app user interface:
- it would be nice to be able to navigate directly to the Journal from the Reading Schedule, rather than having to back out completely to get back to the home screen. By the time I pull up the Journal, I've completely forgotten the questions/prayer focus to respond to them. I've resorted to taking a screen shot as the means to reference the questions and prayer focus...

Great content
Many Bible devotional are surface content and neat stories. If you want some meat in your personal study or group study--this is the app you need!
Daily Bible
This is a great format for reading thru the bible. We homeschool and read bible every morning Monday through Saturday. This will help us to keep track of our daily bible reading. The quizzing has been fun and the commentary and charts are very helpful. Appreciate the great layout! Enjoying it in Colorado. 😀

Very useful and thorough
I have enjoyed Manna for the Morning. I have most of the hard backs of this spiritual literature. It helped me to draw closer to God on so many levels back in the early 90's .It may do the same for you.
Beautiful, Informative and Love the Quizzes

Manna From Heaven
Great app! As a history geek, my favorite part is the background in each chapter. It helps put you in the timeframe and environment of when it was written. Also, love the charts and pictures! Well done!
