I’m extremely disappointed with my experience.
First, I set up automatic bill payments from my Manulife debit account to my credit card well in advance, yet the payment wasn’t processed on time. As a result, I was charged interest and, more importantly, my credit history was negatively affected. While Manulife eventually reimbursed the interest, they can’t restore the damage done to my credit score. That mistake should never have happened.
Second, the “updated” credit card rewards program is a huge downgrade. Instead of earning more rewards for using the card, I now earn significantly fewer points. To make matters worse, my points balance is actually showing as negative. Seriously? Who wants to use a credit card where the more you spend, the worse your rewards become?
Between unreliable auto-payments and a rewards program that has become far less rewarding, it’s hard to find a reason to continue using their services at all.

This app is incredibly user-friendly for managing daily finances and savings. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it seamless to check balances, transfer funds, and deposit checks. Useless to me
I use my iPad for mobile banking. This latest update is not compatible with my iPad so now I am reduced to banking on my iPhone or purchasing a new iPad - Thanks Manulife !

God awful bank
Absolutely horrible bank their customer service is even worse, they kept my transferred money under review for 3 months with no reason or updates, everytime I called every rep gave me different information, they flagged my money and closed my account for no reason and said they would return my money whenever they’re done with their internal review which had no date they could give either. I called and complained multiple times because they didn’t even reach out to anyone or contact my other Bank for verification or questioning. After I chased my other bank and drove them crazy and forced Manulife to escalate my situation to a supervisor they finally randomly reopened my account and “finished” their review after 6 months of toying with me. Absolutely will make an ombudsman complaint against them because now they’re ignoring my requests to even close my damn account!!!

Chat message box missing
No box to input a message. Keyboard is available and functioning though. No send button either. Otherwise chat is working and chat rep is always waiting for my reply. Chat gets terminated because they think I’m gone.

They literally steal your money . They stole 3,000$ from my account and no customer service rep knows what’s going on when I call them . So not put a dollar in this bank . They are thieves

I have no idea how to take a picture of check properly. When I take the picture as portrait it shows landscape. When I try in landscape it shows portrait
Wants a newer iOS
The update now wants iOS 16 or newer even though it worked just fine on iOS 15 just yesterday. It’s sad that companies are just making e-waste because they can and we have no option but to go along if we want to access anything.

1. Asks for secure code via every time I open the app and use face ID
2. Recent update doesnt allow to copy text into the app (i.e. the secure code it constantly asks for, or the msg section of an etransfer)

Not working with iOS 26.1
Updated to iOS 26.1 and now receiving errors when trying to make interact transfers or edit contacts.

Every time I login the app freezes on the first screen and kicks me out.
