great full-featured app, minor issues

love the pins and apple pencil support! the hardest part is not having a dedicated eraser. it’s very hard to select lines to delete them and the object list just has a list with color and generic obj description (“Line”) unsorted. wish you could at least only see objects in the current view

icloud sync and export issues

I’m unable to sync or export the maps on my ipad to my macbook. They both have the same icloud. This app is great otherwise.

Great little app

I downloaded this app to be able to draw certain radius-sized circles on a map. This app allows me to do that easily. One feature request for a future update, though: please allow me to set the center point and then type in the distances (e.g., 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, and 150) so that the radiuses are exact. By drawing the line, I am not able to get it exactly on these numbers, so I am off by a small fraction. Please keep putting love into this great tool.

So much promise, but unable to import json

Really want to like the app. The line and polygon features are fine but after hours of trying I have been unable to get the json port feature to work, even with files that look fine using geojson.io. If I can only draw features by hand the utility is limited

Good piece of mapping software

I have been using this app for a few months without issue until now. I can no longer find the option to publish the map online and cannot work out the reason why. Also when I press the ‘App support’ option on this page I cannot find an option to ask for support to help with the problem I have?

Removed the feature I used the app for

There used to be a feature where I could send maps to people via a link that would open in a web browser, but that feature no longer exists. And I don’t want to make everyone I share it with have to figure out GeoJSON files. Kind of ruins the whole purpose of the app for me.

Five star app

I would rate this 10 star if I could. This App does everything I need and it is user-friendly and flexible I can name my locations that I need to mark an if it is off on the map, I can slide the pin to where I actually need it. It’s a free app no ads no data collection. I highly recommend this app and I highly recommend to do the $2.99 donation.

Hi, thank you for your feedback. The maps can be viewed as a 3D globe by selecting 'hybrid' or 'imagery' map style from the button at the top right corner of the map view, then enable 'show realistic maps' in settings.

Gets slow quickly!

This app works well for small amounts of annotations, but once I draw several thousand kilometers of lines and such, the app starts to lag greatly, often freezing.

I like the app it is really good but doing the redo button messes me up and I would like if there was an erase button thank you.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. In the latest update (1.3.8), I added a button next to the undo button for restoring the undone changes. You can also remove lines and shapes on map by selecting them then choose "delete" on the action menu.

Very good app!

Its very easy to use and works so well for exactly what I need it for. Improvements I would suggest would be the occasional crash ive had after deleting a line (however my data was still saved so thats a plus), and possibly smoothing the lines or having an option for that since it takes more data. I also love that i can save my edit to my files.

Correction to last review

This app does allow you to search coordinates in the Points of Interest field. Excellent. It would be good if you could edit the radius of your circle etc once it is drawn - not just the colours. It would also be helpful if you could alter the opacity of the shading. Really handy app for quick search parameters in mountain rescue. Would be amazing if this could incorporate Ordinance Survey map layers, and support sharing via GPX. Great app.

One absolute must for next update is the ability to change units of measurement. Radius of circular is stuck on feet / yards / miles despite changing phone base measurement

Almost perfect

Great app. Lacking 1 key feature. Search function does not allow you to search by coordinates, so anything without a post code / address is hard to find quickly. Use for search and rescue search areas. Very handy really need lat and long search. Would be amazing.
