Your photos already remember where they were taken. MapAlbum brings those moments back to a map. MapAlbum reads the location metadata in your device's photos and places each geotagged memory on Google Maps. Tap a photo pin to revisit the moment, browse other photos taken within 100 meters, or open the image full screen. WHAT YOU CAN DO • See geotagged photos from your library on Google Maps • Explore photo locations with clear pins and map clusters • Browse photos captured within 100 meters of a selected photo • View your photos full screen • Add a note to a photo, stored in local app storage • Open driving directions to a photo location in Google Maps • Center the map on your current location when you choose PHOTOS AND NOTES STAY LOCAL No MapAlbum account is required. MapAlbum does not upload your photo files or notes to developer servers. Notes are stored in local app storage, subject to your device's backup settings. MapAlbum retrieves a small public version-configuration file to check whether an optional or required app update is available. The request does not include photos, photo coordinates, notes, or current location. MapAlbum needs photo-library access to find photos with embedded GPS data. Current-location access is optional and used only when you ask to center the map on where you are. An internet connection is required to load Google Maps and open directions. Google Maps is a third-party service and is subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. MapAlbum contains one bottom banner supplied by Google Mobile Ads. Ad requests are configured as non-personalized. Google may process technical, identifier, approximate-location, interaction, diagnostic, performance, and advertising data to provide and measure ads and prevent fraud.
