Crashes when adding a photo from Library
I really love the idea of this app - it looks like some thought went into it. Unfortunately it looks like the developer may have stopped updating it as it will crash whenever you try to add a photo from your photo library. Hoping for a fix as the app looks great.

Hi! Very sorry about the bug. This problem has been fixed.
Don’t waste your money
After paying for this app I discovered a few big technical issues that are dealbreakers, the most critical being the inability to add a photo without the app crashing. The developer website no longer exists and they are no longer responsive on Twitter. Don’t give them your money!!!!

No panoramic support, limited camera
For location scouting, panoramic image support would be greatly appreciated.
As an animator it would be nice to also be able to access the iPhones other image functions especially the filters. As it stands the camera only takes basic pictures.
It would also be nice if the image player also supported the ability to view panoramic images in pov mode or through simulated viewfinder.

I love this app
Offline location logging with notes and photos. I use this for restaurants and cool bars as I travel. This app does it perfect and is a great app with solid developer feedback!
Quick and easy with just the right features!
I had been looking for a quick and simple-to-use app to help me log locations I find for my landscape photography. This app has all the features I need! GPS, notes, searchable tags, photo attachments, direction links, sunrise/set info, and now data backup to Dropbox! I use this app to remind me where I parked sometimes too. :-)
2018-06-07 UPDATE: still love the app but I just had a phone failure and may have lost my years of location data. It’s recommended that I NOT restore the new phone from my iCloud backup. And the Dropbox utility was not working for me when I tried to use it a few times. The Dropbox feature would have been great right about now. Any suggestions on how to recover ONLY the MapAPic data to my new phone would be appreciated.

Backup Won’t Work!
I have been using this app for a long time and I have always used Dropbox to backup my locations. I buy an iPhone X and the app is not letting me get all my locations back. When I tap to restore all it says is “preparing to restore” and won’t do anything else. It doesn’t even try to connect to Dropbox. Please make this work again.. I love the app, I just want it to work. Thanks.

Crashing on document creation!
I'm on a job and this is a nightmare. I'm going to have to manually create everything to send to my creative director.

Hi, I'm sorry about the problems with PDF creation. That feature was in beta and was not very stable. I just released an update that fixes that issue. I hope it works for you now. Please let me know either way via in-app feedback. Thanks!
Crashes trying to make a PDF
I have some notes and a few photos, crashes every time I try to export a PDF to share with the team. Unfortunately useless if I cant share the information.

Awesome App
Awesome app!! Sometimes I don't have a chance to open the App and set up a new location while at the location.
If you take a pic and choose to setup the location later it uses the Exif info to mark the Lat Long on the map.

I love this app. However the email feature kills and close the app.

Dropbox backup, a easy to use and info centered interface. Tags. Notes for each location. I'm a photographer who travels and scouts A LOT. Love this app and would highly recommend to any shooter.

Must Have For Photographers
I live in NYC and I'm always stumbling along great spots I want to shoot but never remember exactly where they were. Map-A-Pic helps me remember and helps me get their with google maps. It's also great to show clients sample locations to nail down where they think is best for your shoot
Indispensable Tool
MapAPic has become an important part of my photography workflow. This software has enabled me to better scout new scenes and find them again to take better planned images with more effective composition. The GPS and other locational data that it provides is just awesome!

Entering address doesn't update map
This would be great but it's missing several features even in the paid app. I want my money back.... Updating an address manually should update the map - come on that's elementary!
