Great but no reset
I have this map and another for a different game and I love them, but I recently started a new game and have to manually reset all of the items that I found on a previous save. Tried to follow the website to reset like it instructed but I don’t think there is the button for the reset and if there is it it too hard to find.

Eigentlich hatte ich erwartet, in der App mindestens die gleiche Funktionalität wie auf der Webseite zu erhalten - im Idealfall sogar noch erweitert und komfortabler.
Das Gegenteil ist der Fall: Weniger Informationen, weniger Möglichkeiten, buggy bzw. nervig zu benutzen…was mich aber besonders genervt hatte war, dass die Map beim Aktivieren eines Trackpunktes immer gezoomt und zur Seite verschoben wurde, wodurch das Tracken mehrere Trackpunkte nacheinander zu, Geduldsspiel wurde. Außerdem hätte ich mir zusätzlich zur Option, ganze Kategorien zu enttracken auch die entsprechende Gegenteilige Option gewünscht. Zudem „blitzt“ die Map beim Erschienen und Zoomen
Nach ca. 20 Tracks hatte ich die Nase voll und habe wieder zur Webversion gewechselt, nur um festzustellen, dass meine in der App aktivierten Funde nicht synchronisiert wurden, obwohl ich mit demselben Account angemeldet war. Im Vergleich zur App ist die Webversion deutlich ausgereifter.
Die App ist leider aus dem Beta-Stadium nicht herausgekommen…sehr schade!

Great concept
Website works great but app sucks. Cannot login to save progression found items.
Stopped working
It stopped working after tracking a few items. If you have to pay to track then it should clearly say that. Don’t care how nice the app is if it has underhanded pay tactics. If it told me up front about paying I would have, but now nah. I don’t like shady anti consumer practices.

Every time I try to mark something as found it just keeps giving me errors on everything. Waste of time and useless

Doesn’t work
I’m trying to find all the quests to make sure I completed them all and I’m getting an error after clicking finished saying “”failed to mark location: The PolyJuice Plot” along with a few other quests. There are also typos for teacher names compared to the game. I’m afraid if I delete and reinstall I’ll loos my progress. Shame I had to pay for this and cannot message the developer of the bug. Hoping this review lets me upload a picture.

BEST MAP APP EVER!!!
If you want to %100 an RPG, this is the greatest app out there. They only charge a few bucks for full access, please do it just to support these ppl. THE BEST MAP APP EVER!!! Thank you MAP GENIE
No Option to Change Password Via Email
The only way to change your password is if you first enter your current password. I’m not sure about other people, but I often need to change my password because I don’t remember it! This is extremely inconvenient, I was going to cut my loses and delete the account and try again but you of course have to enter your current password to do that as well. I’m not sure why there is no “forgot password” button that sends a code to your email like every single other website out there… To even find a way to change the password I had to go to the web browser as there was absolutely no password options anywhere on the app.

Locations
It shows us where things are but don't tell us where they are. It will be much easier to have the names of the items and their locations marked as well. One star.
Good, not great
Seeing everything mapped out is very helpful. Map does a strange thing where it jumps down and to the right when you select a map entry. Would have been higher rating if the entries were also available in a list form. If you accidentally mark something (or lose game progress because of the Phoenix glitch, like I did. Thankfully I hard save at the end of every play session.) going through each thing on a map comparing it to your game is difficult. Extremely more difficult when the map jumps around every time you select something.

Not working
It says unavailable to mark location
It’s missing a lot.
I just got done finding all of the demiguise statues in the game. This map is missing OVER half of them. I had to find a guide online. The more I look at it, it’s missing a ton of stuff. Quests, field guide pages, chests etc. This app is useless because it’s incomplete.

Works great!
I was really enjoying using this to track my progress of finding stuff and it was working out great but now all I get is an error when I try to mark anything as found that it can’t save it. Now I feel like I can’t play the game anymore because I don’t want to lose track of what I’ve done.
UPDATE: Just realized I needed to upgrade to pro to track more things. That’s fine, I just wish there was a prompt telling me that instead of me just confused why it wasn’t working!

Stopped working
I was loving this map, until it just quit working all of a sudden and it now won’t let me mark things as found. I tried deleting and reinstalling, with no help. Very disappointing!
Pro
Paid for pro to access hogwarts legacy but not worth it if there’s no labels to indicate where hogwarts or hogsmeade, etc.
A little bug
When you try to mark a item off the map or track a certain item a, “something went wrong” message pops up.
Have to pay
Bit annoying that you can only mark 100 things you’ve found and then you have to pay. Would’ve maybe done it if it was a couple pounds but £6.99? no thanks
