Maps updating
Until the map in CarPlay is live and active don’t bother … map doesn’t move as car drives . Gotta keep the app open on phone to view in CarPlay screen.

better options out there
pretty high price subscription just to get directions.
I picked the los santos one from the ads and could only access that one and another gta like map.
The rest came with the subscription.
I do like how it looks though, you can even add locations as poi's/bookmarks so they get starred in whatever theme you have.
The themes pretty good though, surprised how many shops had icons, pretty much all of them had icons.
I'd re-download/recommend only when they allow you to get directions for free and use in car alongside audio telling where to go.

It does not support CarPlay and I was going to buy this one I will stay with Waze
