Mapping on the go
I’m using this primarily on my iPad, and I have to say it is well worth the in-game purchase for any Dev struggling with time (which includes you!).
The added bonus of being able to disable the auto-shadow is nice, and if you double-tap on a tile it works the same as the “tile picker”, allowing for quickly copying parts of the map.
Scrolling is done by swiping the map, and it will only register as “setting tiles” if you touch and hold the screen for a fraction of a second (time delay configurable), so with a little getting used to you can scroll and place tiles with decent speed.
Some things do behave differently from Windows RPG Maker, such as tiles picked with tile picker not carrying over when you switch layers, but this will probably be addressed in future updates.
All in all very much recommended!
