Hard to use

Very hard to use this app, not user friendly and UI is bad

Doesn’t really work well

Wanted to view railroads and while it would show them for the United States zoomed out, as soon as I zoomed into south east Florida, no go.

5 stars if it worked

Worked a few months ago. Can’t load after 5 seconds of use.

Won’t load after a few minutes of use

I love this app for exploring but after a minute or two of use the app stops loading in the map and i am forced to restart.

Edit: changed from 4 stars to 1 star. this app has become unusable, map wont load

No navigation

This map app is categorized under “Navigation” but it doesn’t actually have that functionality, so if you have someone else manually looking at the screen to tell you which direction to drive, like back in the day of paper map books, maybe you will find it useful, but for me it’s just another OSM viewer, and OSM is too incomplete, and often wrong due to being updated only by volunteers, that this is a useless app.

Not using OSM

This doesn't seem to be using OSM, but the maps from Apple. Gulf of America??? What is that???

Gulf of America?

Forget that. I’ll use another map that has the correct name for major bodies of water

A little clunky but better image

Better than open maps that it does busniess searches , but no gps is okay, use Waze or a GPS guidance app for that that does traffic without centralization of roads etc

In current form useless, monetising OpenSource material

The idea as such is not bad. However the various layers take so long to load, even on home WiFi, that it renders the app useless.

The only part of the app which loads quick enough is the ads - the app uses free content to present ads, thereby monetising OpenSource material (Open Street Map).

Awesome maps!

I just happened to stumble upon this app. I’m a map freak, so I just have to say these are awesome maps! It combines the political boundaries of open street maps with the locator of Apple Maps (plus the presentation of route shields as they actually appear on the road). Excellent job!
