App crashes upon photo selection

As the last update was 6 years ago, seems like the app is not compatible with current iOS versions. Zero stars!

Great until iOS 15

I’ve been using this app for years and found it really useful, but since updating my devices to iOS 15, it just crashes all the time.

FAQ

What does Mappr do?

Mappr allows you to add or update the location of your photos before you post them to Instagram. It works by embedding GPS Exif data directly into the photo file, ensuring that Instagram recognizes the chosen location for your Instagram Photo Map.

How does Mappr embed location data?

The app saves the location directly into the photo by filling in the GPS Exif fields within the image file. This is different from apps that only change the location in your phone's photo library, as the data is embedded within the photo itself.

Can I use Mappr if I don't have Instagram installed?

Yes, you can use Mappr to edit your photos and embed location data, and then save the edited photo to your device's library. This allows you to use the photo with the new location however you wish, even if you don't directly open it in Instagram.

Is Mappr free to use?

Based on the provided information, Mappr is a free application. There are no mentions of in-app purchases or subscription models.

How can I use Mappr to show I've traveled the world?

You can select any photo from your library, then use Mappr to assign a new location from anywhere in the world. After saving the edited photo, you can open it directly in Instagram and share it. This will display the new, chosen location on your Instagram Photo Map, giving the impression of travel.
