Giving it a Try
I’m giving it a try. Right out of the gate, one very positive feature—currently lacking in every other open source, community driven navigation app—is the ability to choose from multiple routes.

Locks up
You do a search for a place you want to go and it just locks up on the search results making it totally unusable

Sorry about that! There was a mysterious hang that only manifested on some device form factors. This has been fixed since 1.12. Thanks for reporting the issue and giving maps.earth a try!
