Adhan at Prayer Time Turn on "Play at Prayer Time" in Settings → Adhan to automatically hear the adhan when each prayer arrives. When the app is open, the full adhan streams immediately. When the app is in the background or your phone is locked, you'll receive a notification — tap it to open Maqam and hear the complete adhan. Quran Guide Surah verses now appear immediately when you open a recitation — no need to start playback first. During playback, the current verse is highlighted and scrolls into view automatically, making it easier to follow along. More Playback Speed Options Both recitation and adhan now offer two slower speed settings — 0.5× and 0.75× — in addition to Normal, 1.5×, and 2×. If you've ever found the default speed too fast, you can now slow it down to a pace that's more comfortable for following along or learning.
