Good implementation
I enjoyed a version called “Flek” on the PC but lost my copy years ago. This is a nice, modern implementation, that reminds me of a few times when I met my dad’s friends visiting his old village in the Czech Republic.

Not bad. Fun; needs development
Love having a portable version of Mariáš to take with me on my iPad and iPhone, but the app could use a little help yet.
First, I would really appreciate a Czech mode. It's just a little strange to be saying "shoes" and "pants" for me even though I speak both languages. The random remarks from the other players too... "Bells" and "Piggy" just sound better in Czech.
Second, it would be great to have a multi-player mode so I could play by wifi or over a network with my friends or family. I would love to play with my dad, so we could have 2 human players and one computer player and then we wouldn't have to play "lízanej mariáš."
A few minor bugs too. Eg. When you hit "no" for displaying the rules, it displays them anyway.
Last, the logic and AI need to be improved. For example, the computer dealer chose acorns as trumps and then called "7" even though he didn't have it - I did. So I called Flek on 7 (and on the game), he called Re, and I won both the game and the 7.
But this app could have potential if the developer gives it some love.
