App Problems

No ability to write notes. Reminders portion does not work correctly and it will not allow repeat reminders activate. Instead the app shuts down. No response from developer from questions asked.

Used to be great… Until the awful redesign

Use to be a great app until the awkward redesign, with parameters on cards that have to be jerkily scrolled through to access, rather than them all being on one screen. PLEASE bring out a classic view option soon, as I am now stuck with a couple of years worth of data on a clunky & awkward app.

Can’t seem to sync with other devices

This app definitely has potential. I started it on my iPad, but I can not get any information to transfer to my iPhone for the life of me. When I try to share it, it doesn’t really do anything but open it on my iPhone. Other than that, it is a pretty good app. Holds a lot of info.

Great app. Couple of things I would love to see.

Adjust tank water volume, as it calculates volume when you add a tank but can’t change the volume to account for sump, sand and rocks

Snapshots aren’t saving

Ability to chose preferred range for parameters, especially Alk. I run at 11 dkh and it is off the graph.

In Alk, auto convert entries. So if I test at ppm I don’t have to open the calculator to convert to dkh

Stock solution dosing calculator. Ie using Redsea B stock solution instead of the powder calculation(or 1/3 b liquid)

There is no cloud save

There is no cloud save like it says that is the reason of me buying this app but what i add on my iPhone i can’t see it on my iPad when i open the app on it. Disappointed

Responsive developer and great app

I use this app to log all my tanks nitrogen cycle progress and keep track of other parameters. It’s great. Also there was a minor bug in the app and I dealt with the developer directly and they had it fixed within a week. They were communicative and persistent in solving the issue. Well worth the money to have a convienient app like this at my finger tips to track my water parameters and other things. Highly recommended app to enhance the hobby.

Very good app you can keep up on your parameters look back on the parameters the only thing that may be confusing when you calculate for supplement it doesn’t tell you if it’s weekly or daily

Crashing

Accidentally added two tanks in setup. When I go to delete one, it crashes the app each time.

Seems great so far

I’ve only been using it for a couple of days but so far I really like it. The only thing I haven’t figured out is how to do recurring reminders. Is that possible? If not, the reminders are less useful. Could totally be user error here.

Decent app

Many apps for recording data for marine fish can be quite expensive or poor if free.
This app for a small fee performs quite well compared to free ones.
I would like to see a few more tweaks to make it even better. Perhaps option to add price, date and place of purchase for equipment, Corals, and livestock.
Also the ability to select the range for parameters when testing.
The conversion section is very useful.

Please email us at support@jcrsoftware.com with the specific crashes. We have had 3 updates since version 2.4.5 that have addressed the crashing issues. No crashing issues have been reported since version 2.4.8

A little disappointed.

I got this app to help my 11 year old son track out new tank. I especially got it for the reminders that are shown to be able to add. Well I can’t add reminders, and there is little to nothing more than I can get from a free app.

We are always taking suggestions and changing the app to our users needs. Reminders are added in three ways: Through the system menu for the aquarium, in each individual parameter and in the bottom tab as of version 2.4.5

All data gone

iPhone 7 running 10.3.1 and after the update, two years of data gone. My Tank not available, only the option to create a new one. A year and a half of data all gone. Do not update!

We have completely changed our cloud syncing system that was giving us and our customers data headaches including data loss as of version 2.1. Since then there has been no issues regarding our new system.
