If you just want a separate radar display on your iPad then this app works very well. It supports all of the features of the Furuno DRS4W radar.
The DRS4W radar can also be integrated with the TZ iBoat app to overlay the radar image onto navigation charts.

Apps crashes when opening
I just bought this radar and have installed it, connected the network it provides and when opening the app it crashes on the first or second screen on startup, never recovers and must install and reinstall again and again to only get the same issue. I am using my IPhone now, I am going to try my ipad and see if it does the same thing. If so, going for a return and choose another supplier.

Not great
It would be wonderful if they updated the application to make the radar actually useful. App hasn’t been updated in years. Radar system is pretty much trash.

Worked for me
Turned my new DRS4W on. Logged my iPad on to its WiFi using the supplied password. Started using the App which failed to find the Radar the first couple of tries but then worked well. The Radar picture isn’t the best I’ve seen but is pretty good and enough for my purposes. It would be good if it was possible to place a distance/bearing line onto the display and have it stay until cleared and have it use either a true or magnetic bearing, then it wouldn’t matter if I altered course.
