Can no longer use this without an account, and it collects an enormous amount of your data. No longer a useful app.

I’ve canceled my subscription this new version is impossible to use
It used to be great…then the update ruined it
Horrible, ugly, unreadable background, search doesn’t work, not worth paying for any more.
Shockingly bad update
This app is now a perfect example of something that was once user friendly and fit for purpose until the recent early 2026 update. It’s been turned into something that is simply appalling. So disappointing

I paid for premium but app won’t let me log in to account. Tried contacting support and zero reply
Messed up a good app
Thanks for the gray scale chart. Really sucks! Why not add a basic chart that doesn’t have all the pro features many of us don’t want? The old app was great and free for us old timers.

This update is awful. All of the functionality of the old version is gone. Absolutely terrible.
Not sure what changed but it isn’t what it used to be
This app seems to have gone downhill.
Was once the best
I have happily used this app everyday for many years both for work and keeping track of my family but since the “new look” it has been totally frustrating, freezes, slow to process, cant get out of a page without going back to the beginning… very, very, very disappointing “upgrade”..

Ruined App
The old app was perfect - and you changed it for no reason. I have posted detailed lists here 10 times yet they magically disappear - how much are you paying for your fake 5 star reviews?
1. The new app recenters on a ship for no reason now. It moves the map which is highly annoying when browsing highly populated regions
2. Part of the previously free ais data is now paywalled
3. The gui updates are ugly and didn't need to be changed
4. The old photo carousel is gone and replaced with single random photos you have to randomly click through 1 at a time

Poor
Hard to find vessels and once you click on one with name in search, can’t get rid of it to try to find vessel with same name.
Should allow better search options. Name + location + vessel type

Great Lake Freighters
I really like this app, but wish it told the length of the freighter like the previous version of this app before the latest update.
From great to terrible
I use Marine traffic all the time and was recently forced to update. The app is now terrible - from simple & effective visuals to confusing inconsistent detail. No longer usable. Why break something so good?

Magic roundabout
Like many reviews I too was unhappy with the latest update. But I thought I would pay for a month’s subscription to evaluate it properly.
Firstly “couldn’t retrieve data” seems to be their default. When I try to report a problem, you cannot! But you get options; scam/refund:inappropriate content. No other choice. I go to their website & help area. Nothing to help. You’ve no method to contact them! It’s annoying since it was once a great app & one I don’t mind paying for - if it works & you’re actually treated like a human being/paying customer rather than pissing you off.
