Ruined App
The old app was perfect - and you changed it for no reason. I have posted detailed lists here 10 times yet they magically disappear - how much are you paying for your fake 5 star reviews?
1. The new app recenters on a ship for no reason now. It moves the map which is highly annoying when browsing highly populated regions
2. Part of the previously free ais data is now paywalled
3. The gui updates are ugly and didn't need to be changed
4. The old photo carousel is gone and replaced with single random photos you have to randomly click through 1 at a time

No good anymore
The app is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Such a shame as I loved it before. Wish I’d never updated the app.
Disappointing upgrade
The loyalty plan now means nothing, quality of the app has deteriorated markedly with the “upgrade”. Very disappointing. Disinclined to pay the $50 per year for pro version.
Why do you need an account?
Used this app for years, it WAS great. Account is required now, and it won’t let me create one with my real data. This is not how you improve the user experience.
New update sucks. Boat beacon is better
New update drops a lot of useful features. Hopefully they return in subsequent updates
Edit. The app seems to drop all the features mariners use and curtails to the average user. Disappointed I can’t even draw simple range/bearing lines anymore. Boat beacon is now far superior..
Second update: app is still missing key useful functions such as measuring distance on the app. I’m not sure why they thought adding weather layers would be more useful when everyone in the world uses windy.
