I'm a retired U.S. Engineer who worked in China in the mid 1980's. If I was looking for exciting opportunities now I would seriously look into working in India. I base this on the information I've picked up from this magazine.
I see some clear direction being imposed on development from the current Political leadership. I see India surpassing China in the next 15 years. The only hinderance is if they fail to remove the caste system.
Exciting times ahead in India. I would love to get into working on a LPG transfer station to take gas from West Coast of the U.S. into southern India.
