NEW DESIGN - A cleaner, calmer interface: flat background, white cards with soft shadows, system typography. The Dark, Light and Cosy themes now use more neutral tones. - Home: your recent notes as a grid or a list, with a preview, their folder and when they last changed. - A lighter sidebar (Mac): the selected note stands out as a card, and the new note and new folder buttons sit at the top. SMOOTHER WRITING - Formatting: a selection ending with a space now turns bold, a selection over several lines is formatted line by line, and removing bold from part of a bold text works. - ⌘B (or the Bold button) with nothing selected makes what you type next bold. - Backspace at the start of a heading moves it up a line, like in a word processor. Return at the start of a heading adds a line above it. - Numbered lists stay numbered in order when you add or remove an item. - Copying and pasting within a note keeps bold, italic and links. - The Outline panel slides in and out (Mac). FIXES - iPhone and iPad: the second letter of a list item no longer gets a capital. - Backspace right after a code block or a table no longer breaks it. - ⌘B or ⌘⇧X on an empty line no longer creates a horizontal rule or a code block. - ⌘N and ⌘⇧N create a note or a folder even while the sidebar is hidden, instead of opening a new window (Mac). - Imported Markdown files appear at the top of the list, like new notes. - The image viewer's close button and caption stay readable with the Light and Cosy themes. - An image's toolbar no longer runs off the screen on iPhone. - Links use a single color, the accent (text and underline). - The checkmark of completed tasks stays readable with the bright accent colors of the Dark theme. - Lower energy use: the animated background, which kept running, has been removed.
