Great Little App
This app is great for keeping track of market opening times, and market Bank holidays. Turn on notifications for best results.

why not show the time the market opens/closes in my timezone rather than just a countdown?
Looks pretty, doesn’t function.
I look for three things in a forex/commodity news source:
1. ability to filter news by currency.
2. ability to filter news by impact.
3. Time-stamps adjusted by local time zones
4. Links to the original publications
I think the design and layout is excellent. Really great UI, but there are no features that make this usable as a news app.
Bugs:
-the start times for trading sessions inaccurate on the Home Screen widgets.
-the “send feedback” form does not work, specifically the “Send” button isn’t implemented

Thank you very much for your feedback. Market Countdown only tracks the FOREX Market Trading Hours. And the NY FX market does open 1.5 hours before the NYSE market. We appreciate that this wasn't mentioned in the description, and thus we have updated it in our next version 🙂
App not working or appearing on App Store
App not opening, loading or appearing on the Mac App Store once I search for the app. Help?
Times not correct / suggestion
Overall, it’s super useful and well-designed. Thanks. However, I noticed the trading hours for the Sydney ASX is incorrect—for example, the Sydney ASX is listed as starting at 7am, but actual trading doesn’t begin until 10am (and runs until 4pm). The 7am start reflects the pre-opening phase when orders are loaded but not executed.
Would it be possible to either show only normal trading hours, or include a setting to toggle pre-opening hours on or off? That would make it even better!

News Portion
The app looks great but the news section is pointless if you can’t see what happened after the time expired. There’s no way to view what happened?

I love how quick and easy it is to check news with this app, especially when used as a widget. It is great for quickly checking news when you’re away from your computer and still have active orders as well as when you are sitting down on the charts. Thanks Blacktower, keep ‘em coming! 💪🏻

I already had the PC version for my Mac, as I travel quite often, Market Countdown helps keeping track of the news without worrying about the different time zones.
Now with the app they managed to make it even better. You get notified for instance when market opens and important news are released. Loved it!!!!

Easy to find session times and events
The best trading app you will download! Know the session time in your time zone with reminders. All main News events. Makes trading that much easier!
