Widget removal
Wow, and here I thought market watch would be spared the widget death of Barron, but looks like I was mistaken. Legitimately the most useful feature of each app is now gone. So too will it be from my phone. Shame.
Removed pre-market prices, the only actually useful thing about the app 🤦♂️.
I cannot even fathom the stupidity of getting rid of the one feature that actually makes the app useful, but that’s what they like to do. Welcome to modern day stupidity. This fits perfectly.
The new UI is terrible
Is there an option to switch to the old UI? This is really unreadable when skimming the watchlist
Way less useful now
Up until recently (September 2026) the best feature of this app was the PreMarket view in “My Watchlists.” Prior to the update, you could see the current premarket price of every stock in the list at a glance. Now after the update, you have to click on every individual stock to see that information rendering this app no better that Apple’s native stock app.
Since I am starting to run out of space on my iPhone 16 Pro, there is really no reason to keep this app on my device.

Useless after latest update
Can't even see the price of a stock symbol in the app anymore. All numbers truncated to just the first one or two digits.
Nice graphics, terrible organization
This new update hides the price of gold and oil at the bottom of market section. These are two VERY important market indicators. Maybe add a section at the top for commodities along With US, Europe and Asia mkts. I am unable to organize my watch list anymore. For example, the currencies that I follow are in separate places as well as the three future market indicators are. Bring back ability edit and to organize in a way that makes sense to each individual user

What happened to pre-market pricing in watchlist?
The new app apparently does not give any way to see premarket pricing in the watchlist. Even tapping on a stock to see the detail page doesn’t show it. I can still see it on MarketWatch in a browser on my computer. Why was that removed from the app? IPad and iPhone.

Typically really enjoy MarketWatch but the request for a rate came as I am having trouble opening through email and it jumping over to the app and while the app opens the specific article does not

Marketwatch is strong on personal finance and delivers some excellent insight on business generally. I also enjoy using the Watchlists, which allow me to peek into the day ahead. I’m less excited about the AI generated single stock coverage, which tells me nothing I can’t tell by looking at the Ticker. Why bother with it?

Whenever I typed, it would act automatically save and flash, even can’t continue typing… very annoying.
