POS app operated by elementary school students
I signed up for this service and paid for the first month through Apple. I was unable to login, and when I complained to the app developers, they said they had no record that I had subscribed or paid. They are so incompetent that they can’t even sync up with Apple on Subscriptions.
Before you pay these losers, look carefully at what they’re offering. They actually offer very little in any given category. This is a smorgasbord of a few classical performances, a few opera performances, a few drama performances, and some ballet thrown in for good measure. Oh yes, they even offer Shakespeare.
But in each category, they actually offer very little.
If you’re interest in opera, you should instead subscribe to the Metropolitan opera service or Medici TV. If you’re interested is classical music, subscribe to the digital concert hall of the Berlin Philharmonic and Medici TV.
Both are far superior to this elementary school operation that is so bogus that after you pay for it, they don’t even know that you have done so

Do not sign up for this service. They lure you in with a discount and will then give you a false discounted amount to be billed the next month and then you will be charged the FULL price and then will say it’s your fault for not cancelling in time. LIARS. THIEVES.

Amazing
I’m really loving Marquee TV, as an avid Shakespeare fan, I love how much of his bibliography is available. My one problem with it is that when I cast something to my TV, I have no way of pausing, playing, rewinding, fast forwarding or stopping casting. Even when the app is closed it continues to broadcast, which is helpful but not given the scenario of not having a stop casting button, as whatever I choose to watch continues to play when I turn the TV off. Besides this it’s an amazing app for an avid arts lover. Looking forward to seeing it get better and better as time goes on!

Nothing works on macOS!!!
This app is worse than useless. I rarely submit reviews, But this is so BAD, I just had to chime in. If I try to watch normally, subtitles won’t appear. When I trick it into playing a different way, I’ll get subtitles, BUT THE VIDEO DISPLAYS AND PLAYS SIDEWAYS!! Not joking. I’ve NEVER sen anything like it. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but still doesn’t work. I’m very disappointed. I just paid for a year’s subscription, and not able to watch on any of my macOS devices. Oh, and clicking ANY button works maybe 5% of the time. Seriously.

The app got stuck in landscape mode and I can’t get it to work. So I was unable to enjoy the content. I feel ripped off, I won’t renew.

Does not cast to tv. Takes a very long time. Subtitles do not match what’s being said. Tried to cancel and it took way too long. That’s what I don’t like about these apps, easy to sign up, not easy to cancel.
Unusable
Will not cast to my TV despite resets. Systems are running at required updates and yet it will not work.
Afraid to mention the price?
You expect me to agree to an LG TV monthly subscription without telling me the price? No way! And I'm not sure if I can enable English subtitles with operas. Fix these things and I may subscribe. Also fix the iPhone app.

Renewed in November & app rarely works. Weekends is when I want to watch & no help desk response. Waste of money.

Best selection of streaming performing arts.
Great source library, but poor app
I’m a little confused by the reviews that praise this app. It’s certainly true that the source library is awesome. But the app is flaky. On Apple TV it hardly responds correctly to the controller queues and accessing content can be a real chore. Also, this app doesn’t seem to communicate with Apple TV very well, and account modification really requires communicating via your web browser. (So, definitely not a stand-alone product.)

IOS Update breaks the App
There have been betas galore of the new IOS (Operating system).. is it really too much to expect the people at Marquee who take our money to have tested their App against the new system..? Fix it!
Login tines out on iPad
Bot a review on the content - which I'm sure is fine but the app for iPad is impossible to log in to. The wheel just keeps spinning so we had to cancel as my daughter couldn't watch anything.
Apple TV app very buggy
I really want to like this product but navigation is bad, the app often requires logging in anew, and, as others have noted, sound cannot be sent via Airplay to speakers. Every other music-oriented app can do the latter. Tech support tries to help but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear
Awesome classical music and opera app
A fantastic classical music and opera app great to have Such a wide choice but the app. Does not remember were you stopped halfway through a opera or symphony concert a theatre play you have to rewind to the place you stopped at yourself and the audio could be better so the content is good it doesn’t matter wether you pay a monthly subscription or a annual subscription you still have to do the rewinding yourself and the audio should be better so this could be my last year of marquee if doesn’t improve

Subscription renewal
I subscribed a couple of years ago but stopped using the service after a while. Recently they’ve taken payment from my bank as an auto renewal but without sending me a reminder or advising that the price had increased. They refuse to refund me after I told them I didn’t want to renew. To make matters worse I’ve logged in for the first time in a year and can’t view any content. It seems I have no active subscription according to the app. I’m getting no response fro customer support.
