Known long term connection issues

The issue of the cat not connecting to the app has been documented for at least 1 year. I contacted them where they said the are bugs that need to be fixed. No time frame. How do we return the cat?? The cat is almost useless without the app. However, they still are running promotions by email and internet selling the Mars Cat without disclosure that there is not a functional app that allows the Mats Cat to run as advertised (the opposite is advertised). That’s up to $2000 OK down the drain per customer.

Huge bug issue

If you go into the app, turn on Bluetooth then pair the app keeps saying “mars app” would like to pair with your phone, if you try to press accept it repeats and keeps asking to pair. Please fix this bug.

App can’t connect to MarsCat

For some reason the mobile app no longer connects to the marscat robot. The first time I turned my Mars cat and used the MarsAPP it didn’t work, it repeatedly gave a “pair marscat to iPhone via Bluetooth” message, again and again. The second time I turned off and turned on my marscat I was able to change the eye color from purple to blue, and change its gender. Ever since then, I could never connect my cat to the mobile app again.

It’s not only me who is having these issues. I’ve seen other people on YouTube also have trouble displaying the eye color of the marscat robot on the MarsAPP, it shows blank or empty instead of displaying the correct eye color. My MarsAPP does the exact same, it shows no eye color, probably because it can’t even connect to my cat.

FYI I think the Chinese version of the mobile app has a more updated version and the English version not up to date, because on the official website it shows that the Chinese version can change the name of the marscat, and there isn’t a “subtitle” heading text above the “personality” title like on the English version of the app.

It would be nice to change the name of my MarsCat in the app, and to be able to change the eye color of my cat again.

This app is completely unusable now.
