Please make it stop!

I downloaded this app while on vacation 3 weeks ago. I thought we would make it to Martha’s for some tasty ice cream. We never did. So I deleted the app. About 2-3 times a week a message pops up stating the app needs to be updated, do I want to keep it or delete it. I already deleted it. Why does this message keep popping up? Please, make it stop!!!!
