Good if you like comics
I like it wish it was Freeski tho
Great
Came here for comics and they got em .
Heroes for hire is the best comic in the world..!
Danny Rand and Luke Cage are Top #10
Had it for years
Not the same as paper but oh so convient, worth it for when traveling too
Edited
Editing the review because they fixed the issue. Now, if they would make the search function work the way it used to (it’s way too hard to find specific series these days) it would be a five star app.
Pretty good
Great way to read comics for 10 bucks a month let’s you know what’s good before you buy a comic only to find out your not a fan
Best app ever
Best ever but you have to pay for a subscription
Unusable ui. No offline reading.
You can download comics but can’t read them offline. What’s the point?
I get the app wants to confirm with the network that your account is still active before it allows you to enjoy the content but now I can’t read on the subway or otherwise away from the internet.
Also between mobile app and desktop your reading point doesn’t sync so I need to do it manually by looking at where I am on my phone vs laptop but if I read on iPad, and don’t have it with me I have to just figure it out if I want to pick up and continue reading from where I was.
Going from the issue I’m on to an overview of the series as a whole or related series is pulling teeth. Several unintuitive steps to get there. It’s buried deep in the ui. The ui in general is a mess. Especially on desktop. It’s a mystery I have to solve to go from marvel unlimited website which is a wiki of all films shows and merch. If you search for a comic series of issue it will show you films and tv shows. WHY?! I’m trying to find the Spider-Man issue I want and it just shows me all the movies. I can’t watch the films on this platform, I need Disney plus but instead of showing me
Different comic series it shows me films and tv shows that I can’t watch on the platform. I can read Wikipedia for that. I have to leave the website, search google for “marvel unlimited (issue of series I want)” to find different series and issues. The ui of the website itself is totally unusable.
I do love the smart panel feature but these other failings make it impossible to really recommend my

So Worth It!
The subscription is cheap has has access to all of marvel’s comics and characters
Functional
Great app for thumbing through comics.
Removing support for Chromebook
Way to get rid of support for a lot of customers Marvel. I’ve been trying to use the web browser for an hour now since the app is no longer supported on Chromebook and it’s a joke. I shouldn’t have to do a google search to find specific books. I’ll resubscribe when you start supporting Chromebook again.

Great app
Runs very well on the phone, lots of great content!
Underrated app
Despite all the negative reviews for me this is a huge win having all the comic book access at the tip of your fingers for only $10.00 bucks a month is just truly amazing,
Great value.
Amazing price for what’s available to read
Marvel Unlimited is worth it!
I’ve been a Marvel reader since age 8 in 1989, and I love reading new and old issues on Marvel Unlimited.
Worth every penny
I have a big physical library of comics but to have access to everything here without overtaking my small apartment is AMAZING!

Access Restricted
The latest update has left me unable to access the app, saying: “Your access to this app is currently restricted. A parent or guardian may need to verify your age via their App Store account.” I’m 45 years old and have already verified my age with Apple. No other app is doing this.
Fantastic idea, terrible UX
Great to have the back catalogue available. I think the price makes sense. I wish the delay from publishing was less than 6 months (the guys at the other place have only a 1 month delay). But where I am really frustrated is it Feels like this app could be greatly improved with some relatively simple UX changes. For example:
To add/ delete comics to my library or downloads I need to click into each comic and perform the action individually. Multi-selection on apps is pretty much standard so not sure why this is still the case here. Not helped by having a menu button that if you miss by a few millimetres it opens the book instead of giving you the action list.
Some bugs mean that certain books refuse to be removed from my current reading list… guess they are just there forever now..!?
The reading guide idea is a good one but needs to be significantly extended (eg full Krakoa reading list).
