Mashy - ماشي

Mashy is an Iraqi maps and navigation app, built on Iraq's streets and on what drivers see on the road. Navigation • Turn-by-turn voice guidance in Arabic or English. • Live traffic from drivers' cars, and a way round when the road is jammed. • Alerts for checkpoints, cameras, accidents and potholes, and each street's speed limit. • Keeps off dirt roads and closed roads, and learns closures from drivers. • Security permits: pick the permits you hold (the Green Zone, say) and navigation takes the roads that need them; without them it keeps you off. • Offline maps: download your governorate's map and use it without a connection. • Night mode that switches on its own at sunset and sunrise. Mashy Taxi • Order a taxi at a fixed price you see before you order; pay in cash. • Follow your captain on the map and message them in the app. • Have a car? Sign up as a captain and drive when it suits you. Car market • List your car with photos and a price, or find one by make and governorate. Iraq Guide • Restaurants, pharmacies, hospitals, fuel stations and every service, by governorate and kind. • Add your business to the map so people find you. Report the road • Report an accident, a jam, a checkpoint or a pothole in one tap, and help others get there faster. Languages: Arabic, Kurdish (Sorani), English.
