Honest review of Masjid Box One app

Alhamdulillah, Masjidbox is an incredibly beautiful and high-quality digital tool that has truly revolutionized how our mosques connect with the community, Subhan’Allah. By replacing cluttered paper timetables with gorgeous, professional Masjid box screen and the ad-free Masjid box one App, it keeps congregants perfectly aligned with local Athan and Iqamah times, especially during blessed seasons like Ramadan. We must give immense credit and heartfelt thanks to the developers and makers behind this system; JazakAllahu Khayran, may Allah reward you abundantly in this life and the Next for creating such a valuable service for the Ummah. However, the system can still be quite confusing and frustrating to use at times, particularly when the automated Athan audio suddenly stops cuts out or skips. When this glitch happens, you are forced to dig deep into the settings to manually clear the cache or fix the volume sync just to get the sound working again. Furthermore, the 15-minute sync delay when changing prayer times often confuses administrators into thinking they made a mistake, while the mobile widget frequently freezes at "00:00" until you completely reinstall it. We sincerely hope the makers can make Masjidbox much easier to access, navigate, and use so that any volunteer or elder in the community can manage it without advanced IT skills. Overall, it is still a fantastic and highly recommended solution for the house of Allah, and we pray that Allah blesses the creators, accepts their efforts, and grants them the highest reward. Ameen.

Some mosques appear on website but not on the app. The masjid ahl e Hadith at Rotherham appears on the website but not in the app
Great app
Just discovered this app through my local mosque website. It looks amazing. I would recommend building a feature that can allow the app to be connected to Amazon Alexa if it doesn’t have that feature yet. Keep the doing the good job. May Allah bless this developers.
Good app but why are Fajr times so early?
I’m a new Muslim and been praying at the times started for my local mosque using the app, trusting it’s right. Unfortunately come to learn the Fajr times are too early and the Isha times are too late!

If we can adjust the attitude and latitude manually, that will be perfect

Fault in adding Favourites
The app suddenly deleted all my favourites masjids and now I’m unable to add any of them anymore. Also, I’ve reported this issue two times but no resolution has come yet.
The app is very good
There is a slight bug the Azaan and Iqamah times do not match with the masjid time for Masjid Al Furqan Leicester. This is for this month, February 2026
Good app but issues
The app is very good but tends to have issues when trying to save your local masjid and when saving widgets it does not sync correctly these issues need to be rectified

Recently the app will set a random masjid from abroad or in a different city, I will try to remove it repeatedly but doesn’t work. Sadly, doesn’t even send notifications except to remind you to open the app after a while. It’s good for a widget but the anticipated adhan feature is not working. Live in app updates for your local masjid works. Sometimes the app changes my geolocation to a random city and gave me wrong times, shortly it’ll fix itself.

This is a great app to use, very helpful for prayer times in your area especially if you’re a new Muslim like myself. Today I noticed a small fault. See, I rely on this app for accurate timing for my local mosque, Al hamdulillah but today there was a small fault if anyone can resolve this? it said the first call for ASR was at 13:23 and the second for FARD at 14:00, I did think it was quite a large gap but I didn’t think much of it, I just trust the timings are correct. When I went to check the app again, I was late for fard prayer by only 10 minutes Al hamdulillah as it had changed to 13:31 and 13:41.

Notifications for prayer times only seem to come as Athan only. When beep is selected the Athan still plays!

As Good As It Gets
I LOVE the simplicity of this athan app. It’s just what I need. The masjid I attend used this online for salat times and when I found there was an app, Subhaan Allah! Alhamdulillah. Allahu Akbar.
Bugs
Your app widget has bugs it keeps goin back to 00:00 for athan and iqamah now the app not connecting or finding any masjid in search area good app but too many bugs
