Master 1000: Learn Languages

Getting started is much simpler. • Setup is now a handful of short questions. We ask which language you speak first, so everything after it is in your language. • The placement test only appears if you tell us you already know some of the language. Complete beginners go straight to lesson one. • You can go back and change an answer. A clearer home screen. • One large button that tells you what the session actually is — how many sentences, and roughly how long. • Your streak, today's goal and this week's progress at a glance. • Tap any sentence you have already learned to hear it again. A calmer lesson screen. • Fewer counters and badges competing with the sentence you are learning. • Tap, Speak and Auto moved into a small menu, each with a line explaining what it does. Fixes • If microphone access was turned off, Speak mode used to say "we didn't hear you" and keep retrying. It now tells you what is actually wrong and takes you to Settings. • The 7-day free trial on the annual plan now shows reliably. • "Cancel anytime" now appears on the subscribe button itself. Also in this version • The leaderboard and refer-a-friend have been removed. • Our Privacy Policy now describes Speak mode in full: which providers process your voice, where, what is stored, and what is not kept.
