I'm not normally one to leave a review but after using this app for 11 years now and the constant update from the developer I can honestly say this is the best app I've ever brought! I started as a 1 man band plumber and now I use this as a multi user platform (10 member of staff) this app is seriously good, does everything from a diary to certificates to invoices. Couldn't rate this highly enough

Best Gas App on the market
Definitely the best gas app on the market. I’ve tried quite a few and this one is better in every than the others.
Good app
Good app, but I can’t get it to sync across my phone and iPad. If it does indeed do that. It’s got all I need for gas forms in a great layout. I use it with three other guys and everyone always comments on how professional it looks. One feature I would like is to be able to include subcontractors as they use different credentials so being able to pick between them would be a great addition.

By Far The Best Gas & Oil engineer App
As a sole trader I trialed many gas software apps that would integrate my customer base, diary, accounts , job sheets , and for gas servicing , landlord’s safety checks , warning notice and Oil boiler certificates . This app basically does it all and it’s easy to use and is set up nicely , the forms can be sent via email on site as well as the invoice in no time at all . The presented forms and invoices look professional unlike some apps I tried out. Also price wise, it’s certainly very good value for money. I had previously written a review here saying that the app support was poor, I was completely wrong , and a reminder to me to check my Junk box in my emails. Tho whole app experience has been mainly flawless and it works offline also. So you can still fill everything out and have it ready to send when in signal again.
I’d like to thank Steve from the master gas support for his help also, he has been brilliant to deal with.
I’d recommend this app to anyone who is self employed in the gas and oil heating trade. It may also be good for bigger businesses as well, but can only talk from my experience.

I recently wrote a review due to some issues I was having and a miscommunication, I have since spoken with the developer who has not only sorted these issues but briefed me on some exciting new features that are being released soon, I have been using this app since 2013 and have no plans to change. Highly recommend.

This app is all engineer needs
I have been using this app for several years now and build a quite big database of customers, jobs etc.
Once you get used to this app then it really makes life much easier and jobs less time consuming.
Would recommend this app to all gas engineers. In a matter of fact few of my fellow gas pals started using this app after my recommendation.

Mastergas for the win
Mastergas is the best software I have come across for the gas industry for certificates. The team that run it are great and really professional and listen to requirements moving forward.
The new part of the app allowing multiple engineers and having the online facility is spot on and I can see constant additions to help run my business.

Great App but needs updating
I have the upgraded version and contacted Master Gas about the App freezing whenever I go to the Help Centre on my IPad. It’s says loading then freezes, but this has still not been resolved?
If like me you cannot always take your device onto a site and need to fill out the certificate at a later date, you cannot change the inspection date. You must open the certificate on that day and if you don’t the inspection date cannot be changed although you can change the sign off date of both customer and engineer?
You have to be carful about the number of characters you use were ever you detail actions work or defects. There is no character limit so you can type what ever you want but it will not all show on the certificate. This is annoying and can be potentially used against you by your customer as specifics of your recommendations can easily be missed off. Especially if like me you itemise your comments. Why doesn’t the box expand to match character count. The attached number of sheets to a certificate doesn’t matter. Missed off information does!
Apart from these issues the App is good, but I am disappointed that after using this app now for some time I still have the same issues. Please update this app to allow them to be resolved.

I've tried many other 'gas apps' and Master Gas for me is by far the best.
I have been using Master Gas for several years now and without a doubt it is by far the easiest and most adaptable gas engineer software out there.
Occasionally a new 'app' will appear in the App Store with free trial periods and I will happily give them a try but always find them cumbersome or lacking in features.
Master Gas ticks all the boxes.

The customer services is first class to with any issues being responded to promptly. The developer is always open to new ideas for features within the app.
I can honestly say my admin work has been simplified since using Master Gas and frees up time to do other things.

Brilliant app for recording and keeping my service and CP12’s, great layout that can in include your logo so looks very professional. Does everything I need and has other features like invoicing that others might find useful. The support has always been brilliant when I’ve needed it, going above the the call of duty even out of hours, on a few occasions.

Brilliant app for anyone running a gas/heating business, have used it for a few years now and can’t fault it. Steve who developed it is always at the end of the phone or a message away if there’s any queries, great value for money and saves me countless hours on paperwork, it’s also great for generating repeat business due to the reminder section on the app that’s got preset emails with all the details of the work required I.e servicing or landlord certificates.

Absolutely fantastic app, everything flows smoothly and information is simple to input and the results are the most professional certificates I’ve seen.

Excellent service
Been a master gas user for a couple of years and very impressed with the layout and ease of use, few issues are being updated so can use on the computer etc aswell so Steve has listened and so far so good

I have used this app for 5 years, it’s stable and isn’t buggy. The best thing is the level of support you get from Steve the creator and owner of the app.
I have recommended it to other heating engineers and they now run there business on it!

Does everything i need it to do
This app works well the support is very good , easy to create professional looking certs on site and email back up and print . Ive recently purchased a Kane analyser on recommendation of the developer and i don’t regret that either. I found it easier to use than other apps .

I’ve been using mastergas since 2013 so think I’m one of the early users. Disregard any reviews giving less than 4 stars as disgruntled or disingenuous. These reviews are definitely not a true reflection of this app. Personally I can only commend the developer. One stop app covering all aspects from certs to invoicing to the diary.
Not sure where I’d be without this app. Really does make running a small business hell of a lot easier. Support has always been fantastic and the app is updated regularly often with additional features requested by actual engineers. Where Mastergas leads, others try to follow. Full on 5 stars from me 👍

The best gas engineer software to date
Steve has been refining this app for years and I think I have been with him since it’s early stages. I use this app daily for all my certificates, customer details and invoices, it’s seamless, syncs across all devices, easy to navigate around and saves me a lot of time and paperwork. If you are a gas engineer, don’t use anything else to make your life easier.

Had this app from the early days of my self employment , it’s easy , clear, practical and ad-free unlike many of its competitors . The developer has your back all the way through any problems and he’s there to put you in the right direction . People moaning about the extended version price , come on a lot of time and work goes into creating this masterpiece !

Ok but clunky
Wanted to like this as it seemed to tick all the boxes. So much so I bought pro. Unfortunately the reality is not up to expectations.
The app is really clunky and job addresses don’t flow through to worksheets and invoices meaning you have to input things multiple times, very time consuming.
Worst thing for me is the way the. “Support” team just totally ignore requests for help. Can’t even be bothered with a proper email response. Absolutely disgraceful.
Won’t be renewing this and may look to get a refund

Maybe this review may get a response but I’m not holding my breath.
Update , still not had the much promised manual next date due for landlords certs. So still impossible to do a professional cert in advance.

"Addresses don't flow on to worksheets and invoices" - If you enter a customer in to the app and save them they can then be used throughout the app in ANY document. You select the (+) button along side the name field and it shows you a list of all saved customers tap on the customer name and ALL fields are magically filled out. You can also add multiple sites to a customer, perfect for Landlords. 2. We have several ways of contacting us, in app, website, phone, twitter and Facebook. Sometimes your own email provider can mark a response as spam, so even though we ALWAYS reply, your own mail provider may have blocked it. Feel free to call instead, I'm sure we can help. If we can provide a better means of support please do feel free to suggest we are always willing to discuss. I'm sorry you didn't get along with the app, we do always offer a trial up front for you to check suitability up front before making any purchase.
