Brilliant App for learning so much knowledge with good educational practice of retrieval and interleaving of previous info. Great for micro learning.
Excellent for studying
Relevant questions with realistic multiple choice. Imagines for lights are good quality. All positive feedback for this app, tried out 3-4 and this is the best by far for cost and effectiveness.
Really helpful app
I’m only doing my Day Skipper theory but this app is helping the Colregs go in and stick much faster than the usual flash cards or trying to read it all through. It helps you to understand the rules by breaking them down one by one - in whichever order you choose - and then gives you the practice opportunity to reinforce what you’ve just learned. Great for a quick ten minutes or a longer session. I don’t need to know them all yet so I can concentrate on the ones I need for the theory exam and as I progress I will definitely use this app to build on my knowledge.

I’m a novice hobby sailor and this app was created with professionals in mind, but reading reviews of other similar apps there was always someone who had found inaccuracies. So I went with Master-Nav and I’m very glad I did. An excellent learning aid.
Amazing App
The best COLREGS app i have found. Only addition i can think of to make it even better than perfect would be to add in a test that tests randomly all questions at once. Other than that 5 stars.

Great app but could be better
Great app. Please make distinction of inland/international more apparent. Also, when completing every rule please allow for resetting the progress so that I can go back and “learn.” After I finished everything there was a window congratulating me on getting through everything but when I attempted to reset, the app did not allow it. Thank you.

This is because the variety of inland rules differs greatly between countries, making it challenging to cover them comprehensively within the app. Regarding the issue with the screen freezing after completing everything, this is highly unusual and something we haven’t encountered before. Great Refresher and Prep Tool
I’m getting ready to start training for my next assignment on a ship. This is an easy to use tool. I was just looking for the COLREGS test questions, but the Review modules are extremely helpful. It’s like having a high level Maritime Rules of the Road instructor on your phone.
