No New Coaches
The “Coming Soon” section still references new coaches, even though no new coaches have been introduced for over a year.
Missing the Mark
Great concept. Big supporter of MasterClass. Unfortunately, paying for a subscription for over a year that has seen no user-functionality improvements or enhancements is disappointing. Zero new coaches have been released since launching. Should either pull the app down until it can be improved or stop charging a subscription and offer for free with in-app purchases.

Love the Concept
I love the concept. I paid for the subscription in the hopes of getting Bill Nye to help with some problem solving concepts but it’s been almost a year now that it’s “Coming Soon”. Hopefully it will released soon. Will keep the app but cancel my subscription for now. As it stands it seems to work well at least with Voss that I’ve tested.

Technical issue
The role play is great. It’s a shame it doesn’t offer history, so I can go back to it. So have some way of takes notes, because the advice is great.
One issue I have, I can’t use external micros on my phone. So I can’t use my AirPods, or use it when driving via Bluetooth. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling, I’ve double checked it’s enabled. No luck.
Outside of this, I love the app.

Never updated
An ambitious project, and the tech/AI works ok. It’s fun chatting with Mark Cuban. But they’ve been promising new mentors for about 6-8 months now. Like everything masterclass has been doing lately, they half-assed this one. I waited as long as I could and finally cancelled.
Doesn’t work
The app won’t go past 5-10mins. And honestly very generic advice - I could get this from ChatGPT
Not able to go back forward when ending a call
When a call is ended it does not goes back to main menu nor there is any back or forward menu to select . I have to turn off the phone , turn it on to get to

Impossible to cancel
Awful app that’s impossible to cancel. Just do not subscribe. And I did write to support email, no response after a week.
I’ve been needing this
I was doubtful…. But now it’s part of my daily routine. The coaches are surprisingly real, human. Really helpful to be able to verbalize my thoughts and problems and have Mark Cuban shoot it back. Excited for new coaches soon. And roleplay feature was helpful for some meetings recently. The future gonna be wild!

Lifelike and helpful
I’ve been skeptical of a lot of AI chatbots, but these are authorized and specialized, representing experts who have approved, so it’s really the next best thing to chatting with Gordon Ramsay or Chris Voss. I find myself going to Gordon all the time for recipe recommendations or just to see how to use up ingredients in my fridge. Great product and I’m looking forward to who they release next!

Latency
I like the idea of the role play, I think it helps immensely and the characters are very realistic. But I’ll be having a conversation and the latency will all of a sudden drop. Making it impossible to actually finish the conversation. Latency is too big of an issue to be fixed on its own. There needs to be a way to end the call and pick up where you were.

Garbage - just use openAI
Nothing special. Comms are laggy, chats are basic. Under developed funding scam. Give it another year before waisting money on this. Just another Masterscam.

Super helpful & fun
I love using this to app to practice tough conversations! You think you’re good at negotiating until you actually try this and realise you really aren’t 🤣
The feedback is super useful in helping me understand areas where I can improve and I feel so much more prepared now.
The coaching part is also super cool and fun. Just by talking with Mark Cuban for about 15 mins I already have a few new side hustle ideas haha

Latency really hurts
Voice and language is truly spot on, but the time between your last word and the AI’s first word feels so unnatural it’s distracting. This app will be amazing once they get latency down to natural levels. It’s a shame because Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT, and Sesame all have natural feeling low latency conversations.

Best Roleplaying App on the Market
This is seriously the best role-playing app that I’ve tried. I really wanted to get better at my professional development specifically by using an AI to help me practice through different scenarios and I’ve absolutely loved Masterclass on call to do so.
Feels Too Real
It’s scary how real the AI feels. I am a few months into a start up and have been using ChatGPT as a resource, which has been great, but On Call has been amazing for the business questions that involve human interaction, negotiation, and strategy. It feels like Mark Cuban is a mentor who actually has compassion for you as a person. There’s support and encouragement, and when correction needs to be made there’s validation and an explanation of why you should use a different approach. I’ll often ask the exact same question to Cuban and Voss, and while the answers don’t usually contradict each other, they come from different angles that give you better perspective. It’s also really cool how Cuban will sometimes compare his life experiences to what you are going through and he’ll explain what he did in the situation. The sleep guy, I’ve never heard of him before, he’s kind of boring, but I’ve learned some things. Over all, this is well worth the money and I can’t wait for some of the others to roll out.
