Seventeen quizzes span the four levels, and every one of the 2,428 questions carries a written explanation. A wrong answer teaches you something instead of just costing you a point.
Each sitting draws twenty questions from the pool, so a retake is a genuinely new set and not the same list in the same order.
The quizzes follow the shape of the syllabus:

Cards you know come back later. Cards you miss come back sooner. The interval is set by the SM-2 spaced repetition algorithm, so your study time goes where your memory is weakest rather than where you feel like starting.

148 varieties, each with its tasting profile drawn as a band on the WSET scales rather than a single point, which is how an exam answer is phrased. Planting areas come from the Anderson database of world grape plantings, not from an estimate. Put any two varieties side by side to see where they actually differ.
