Does not work on mobile data
The app works fine whilst connected to wi fi but as soon as there’s no wi fi the app doesn’t work , tried re setting my network , my phone , deleted and re added the app nothing works
Locking everything behind a paywall is straight up contradictory
How am i supposed to find someone if you lock messaging behind paywalls? Dosent that go against the entire point of this app? Locking who likes you behind paywalls is stupid too.

1 in 5 accounts are fake made worse by scammers / hackers
I challenge anyone to put a c suite title in your profile and watch the amount of scammers that will try and entice you. You call them out and they simply delete the account and it all starts again. I estimate that 1 in 5 accounts are scammer accounts. Match does nothing to protect its users it simply wants more money. If you are a guy your are basically bang out of luck as the odds are so heavily stacked against you.

Barely functional
So many bugs. Sometimes you like a person and it shows them 3 or 4 more times in a row. It seems to show you the same profiles daily. I am fairly confident there’s a lot of fake profiles too.
App Issue
Currently can’t see likes or messages. When trying to view get a “decoding error” message. Have latest iOS update and tried on another iPhone m, but getting same message. Ok if acceding account via a browser. Contacted match supported team but no response.

Created account, and now can’t log back in , says password incorrect even though it’s not and even password recovery doesn’t work so I have an active account that I can’t log into

Absolute trash. Get yourself a match, a little flash of excitement is followed by awe at the absolute cheek that Match asks you for quite a bit of money just message your match. Utter joke. Possibility for connection shouldn’t be monetised. Add-ons like boosts, fine, but standard matches? Get in the sea.

Decode Error
Constant “decode error” alerts since the most recent update, rendering most of the functionality inaccessible. I won’t be subscribing based on this experience.
Constantly crashes out
I’ve tried removing and reinstalling with no luck. Latest iPhone and iOS and it just crashes constantly. Makes the app useless. I’d have expected better from such an established business.
Still having problems
Not so many fake accounts now but I have been locked out of my account for no reason for the second time. I think they are using a bot to auto block accounts and it is getting it wrong but a human has to reinstate your account which can take 2 days. They also make it difficult to reach their customer service team in the UK so I had to contact the UK team via the US.
