Great App
Received an iTunes gift card for Christmas last year and despite reading some negative reviews decided to subscribe to match fishing magazine. I have not had any problems with it and would subscribe again. Great app for match anglers.
App needs changing
When I am subscribed to a magazine why can't I go straight to my magazine in Newstand when I want to read it instead of going back to the subscription page. This is most annoying and should be like IBooks where you click on a book and it takes you straight to the page you were last reading.

Brilliant app/ magazine. I love reading it on my iPad. The fact I can have loads of back issues and go back to them any time, anywhere is great.
If the offers came with the app subscription then I'd sign up for the whole year.
Still it's a great app, great content and I buy it every month!

Needs to improve..
Why if you subscribe via the app do you have to wait longer first to arrive! Not good enough.
And even though you have subscribed, the bait offers don't apply to you. Unfair
Content could be better , getting repetitive and predictable.
The editorial is becoming a parody of itself, it's like a low quality talk radio show, very low quality

Great on the iPad
Just like reading the paper version (which I've bought for 15 years) but with some movies! Love it.
Stopped working!
I have had this installed for a while but all of a sudden it does not work I have deleted and re downloaded but still no joy!

Great app!!
Great app overall works fine on latest iPad. Bit slow downloading magazine at first but works fine! No problems setting up pocket mags account either (works great and you can browse all your purchase via the news stand section on ipad....very cool!) Navigation and zoom quality of images is great.

Don't buy
This app is terrible, I read the bad reviews and ignored them! Don't make my mistake!
When you download this you will be able to pay for the magazine, however you will not be able to actually receive it.
Even the free trial magazine which u can download has consistent crashes, I have emailed support and there reply is 'please delete And reinstall the app' 6 times I have done this, doesn't help.
Also to have your purchases saved you must register for a 'pocketmags' account, when you try to register for this, you will receive error messages 'server is unreachable'.
No matter what you do with this app it fails, however on collecting your money, yes that part works fine.
Avoid

Brilliant app. Well worth it, better than the actual shop bought mag! If you already like the fishing magazine, what you waiting for!

Works perfectly for me very clear page layouts and saves the hassle of finding the mag. Bargain for the first issue being £2
Fantastic magazine - shame about the app
This is a fantastic magazine.
BUT:
I've now bought nov & Dec and both regularly crash on the iPad.
I contacted the author who replied to my first message with a suggestion to fix problem, I didn't work and they no longer reply.
Shame really as this is a great mag but the app is useless.

Will not be buying another magazine until this is sorted, such a shame cos it's much better now that you can read it when you enlarge it !!
