This app is very outdated and barely fits on my screen, they need to update it

Matt responded to my requests for technical support most immediately upon posting it. He continued to respond to my follow up questions, and a concerning issue -that I caused- was totally fixed in a matter of hours. Real good
I do really like this app and it helps me schedule out many tournaments. But my one request would be to add a filter of the court surface of a tournament.
Why not allow us to upgrade on the app?
The app doesn’t allow upgrade from basic free account. Why?
Bad if you pay, decent if you’re free
I subscribe to this app and it’s good… when it’s working. The majority of the time I try to check some things in app like draws, lists, etc. it just loads on end without showing anything. This happens on browsers on my PC too. The other thing is that this app hasn’t been updated in a long time and could definitely use some optimizations. Probably not worth paying for at the moment.

So clunky
I work in IT and am part of input to several software development teams and I must say this app is terribly coded. I search for players and can’t select them to add to my players. Tournament search is terrible. Gets errors trying to link to swing vision. I’m unable to register for tournaments for my kid because I can’t access her profile to add her but most tournaments require the use of this app. I need to reach out to support to do anything.

Great app
My son has been playing tennis for 5 years now and I found out about this app just last week. Saves me the time to try and figure out schedules, ranking and seeding for tournaments. Thank you.
Extremely valuable
I have been managing the tennis life of several of my kids for a decade. I used calendars, spreadsheets, etc to try and make sure I did not miss any opportunities for them to achieve their goals. When this app first launched, I was thrilled. I am still thrilled to this day. So much has changed with structure and location of tournaments as well as the introduction of new rating systems. Not only is this app intuitive and pleasing to the eye, the developers have done an incredible job of keeping up with changes in the tennis world and making timely adjustments based on user feedback. Need to find a doubles partner? Need to book a hotel? Need to take notes on an opponent? It’s all there!

The developers continue to add features and functionality. I use the app every day. Can still improve the tournament screening function across organizations.
Terrific app
The negative reviews seem to be quite old. I have only good things to say about the app. It consolidates data from different ranking sites so it is easy to see all the players in the tournaments. Lots of information at your fingertips. It has simplified tournament scheduling and it is much better for finding tournaments than the clunky usta site. You can quickly estimate the cha ces of your child to get into a tournament. Connects to usta fit registration.

Best App out there for locating junior tournaments and comparing competitor stats. Additionally, the owners take into consideration feedback and put it in action to continue enhancing it! The customer service is best we have ever seen! You can tell the owners are passionate about making the app the best it can be!

This app is truly phenomenal. Anyone who has grown up playing tennis and registering for tournaments knows the true value of the Match Tennis App. The convenience and efficiency that this app provides is life changing as a tennis parent. From entry deadline reminders, to multi competitive juniors within a household in regards to age divided calendars, to direct links to the USTA & UTR events. Not sure what you could possible ask for more. Match tennis app provides it all. Coming from a junior player, to college tennis, several years on tour, to owning an academy for 15 years to now a parent. My family and I could not feel more blessed and be more appreciative for this app. Thank you MTA Team

Really cannot live without this app’s features. And customer support is A+ through the chat portal.
A junior player must
Matchup is the absolute must have for any Junior player or parent. In one place you can keep up with UTR, WTN and Usta rankings. Knowing what tournaments and levels is increasingly important based on the complexity of the Usta website. Make life easy and get this app.
